About Holly Alexandre

Dr. Alexandre is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Brown University/Memorial Hospital. She serves as a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Alexandre is board certified in family medicine. She is also board certified in addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventative Medicine. She specializes in the treatment of substance abuse disorders.

It was nice that Dr. Alexandreu00A0had some extra time in her schedule and chose to come in and see me even though I was scheduled for the nurse practitioner. So I appreciated that. I hadn't seen her in a while. And also the woman at the desk was very helpful in helping me set up appointments rather than just giving me phone numbers because I don't do well with that. And so we got several schedules and that was great. All right. Thank you.

I felt fully heard, though we could not pin point what is going on with me. I felt like they asked all the right questions and attempted minor physical therapy to see find where my pain was located. With the answers I gave they could come up with a few suggestions to help me. I wasn't sent home with no real progress or just prescribed medication. They really tried to get to the bottom of it. Dr Alexandre keeps it real with me at all times. If im not doing things the way I am supposed to be, or if she has any inkling about what am I doing in regards to my health, she will speak on it, but she will also listen to each word that I have to say. She is a great provider and she has excellent support staff. I've been coming to her for almost 5 years and I am extremely happy that I have her for a PCP. [Name] is also a part of my visits, and [Name] does a great job of listening, engaging, and sharing great information. Two very intelligent people that I very much appreciate having the time to engage and interact with.

I felt listened to right from my call into the office . Telephone staff were caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Alexandre answered all my questions went over meds for possible interactions to a new med I was being prescribed and went over all possible side effects and my medical history and together we made best choice for me. I felt like I had a hand in my care. I will never leave this office. Everyone from phone staff to nurses to the Dr have my respect and I'm grateful to be a patient at south coast due to this office staff.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
