About Holly Alexandre

Dr. Alexandre is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Brown University/Memorial Hospital. She serves as a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Alexandre is board certified in family medicine. She is also board certified in addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventative Medicine. She specializes in the treatment of substance abuse disorders.

Holly Alexandre MD is a very thorough thoughtful practitioner who listens to and assists in all aspects of care. In every instance, she answers my questions, assists me to make decisions and provides referrals to other like Southcoast practitioners. My husband and I feel very lucky to have her as our PCP. She took wonderful care of my Mom too. A true family practitioner. Her clinical and office staff are all on board providing superior care. Very welcoming, taking a personal interest and the follow-up is perfect: from lab appointments to referrals they make certain I have what I need. I feel very well cared for at all times.

It was nice that Dr. Alexandreu00A0had some extra time in her schedule and chose to come in and see me even though I was scheduled for the nurse practitioner. So I appreciated that. I hadn't seen her in a while. And also the woman at the desk was very helpful in helping me set up appointments rather than just giving me phone numbers because I don't do well with that. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
