  • Great Doctor

  • Dr. Awad always makes me feel that I have his full attention. The fact that he personally calls to go over test results is particularly important and appreciated.

  • Receptionist needs a better attitude

  • Great dr and office

  • To improve its appointments closer together. I'm just starting there and I really don't know really what's going on yet and I am having episodes and I did want to you know be up to date on it and what I can do better if there's any exercises or anything else. Okay. Thank you. But otherwise, they're fantastic. Thanks. Bye. Bye.

  • everything was excellent thank you for getting me in

  • Dr. AWAD listens and knows my history. I feel very comfortabl talking to him.

  • First visit to this office. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Award took the time to explain things to me which was very informative. I had difficulty hearing the young lady that was giving me instructions for the test that were to be performed that day and she was very patient with me. Found out I read lips lol.

  • Everyone from this office is always so friendly.

  • I think everybody was very professional. The waiting time was very good and very clean facility and let's about it.

  • Dr. Awad and his staff we're excellent Dr. Awad 's an amazing doctor he explains everything. He takes his time. He answers every question. He asks us me questions. He's just a perfect doctor if you ask me very personable, very professional, very informative.

  • Everything was good

  • Efficient, timely, and professional!

  • I would certainly recommend Dr Awad.

  • Not able to give an opinion

  • The provider listened to my concerns and took steps to figure out why my asthma was exacerbated. He put me on a course of action that started helping immediately.

  • Office staff very nice and so was Dr. Awad.

  • Checking on phone from car and called me to go into building within reasonable time frame. Brought me into a room within a few minutes. Medical assistant was efficient and knowledgeable about medications when reviewing my med list.

  • Very comprehensive approach

  • Always a pleasant experience with the office

  • Aside from having to wait awhile in the exam room I had a great experience here.

  • I went to Dr. Awad to find out the cause of my chest pain. He ordered a lung x-ray and blood work. The tests we’re normal. He recommended to see a Pulmologist. The office staff we’re unable to schedule a timely appt. I had to go to my Primary Dr. to get a timely appt. with a Pulmologist.

  • Very professional...timely...made the appointment as easy as possible during this stressful time of Covid 19. Great staff.

  • Dr. Awaad was a great physician and seemed to really listen, understand and set out a plan for my health condition.

  • Very professionally done.

  • everything was done very well

  • Everyone involved was courteous and professional.

  • It was my first visit. I love the fact that any south coasts provider is able to see and read my reports from other south coast physicians. Saves so much and increase the likelihood of a good patient outcome.I am optimistic that I will excellent care. Let’s see what the future brings!

  • I've seen or had telehealth with three of the pulmonologists here, and ALL get very favorable reviews from me: Dr. [Name] Dr. [Name], and Dr. Awad. All of them take time to listen, think about what you say, and seem to make thoughtful decisions about your care. The front office is also quite professional.

  • could not hear a thing he said and he seemed to get agitated when i would ask him to repeat himself, I am hard of hearing and told him so several times. He scheduled 2 tests with the lab one for pulmonary and one for blood work ,the first one he set up the appointment , the one for the blood work I hadn't heard anything a week later so I called and got one for the 27th He may be a great Doctor ,but does not make himself very clear.

  • Without question, it felt like an absolutely safe experience and very satisfied with my provider at South Coast.

  • I guess I got an appointment right away. My primary doctor who was not in the office, but it did let me see Dr. Awad and like I said, they got me in right away within just a couple hours of me calling. So I deeply appreciate it that and already starting to feel better within the medication. So thank you for that. Appreciate it.

  • Experienced very experienced I like that.

  • This was my first visit to pulmonology office, everything went well. Very informative

  • I have never had a bad experience!Highly recommended

  • I can't say enough about your pulmonology dept. and all the nurses, doctors.Maybe a little better food?

  • Thank you for caring, I always have had the best care and understanding from all of you .... Stay Safe??

  • Dr. Awad listens and answers all my questions.

  • At home lockdown and they were there by phone went great

  • Long time patient of Dr. Awad. No complaints at all with this provider and staff.

  • I liked their service, very friendly, very happy, helped me a lot, everything very good.

  • Everyone in the office was friendly and welcoming. I only had to wait a couple minutes before the Nurse came to get me and then only a couple minutes before Dr. Awad came in the room. Both the Nurse and Dr. Awad sat and took time to listen to what I had to say. It was refreshing to not feel rushed, I had a great experience.

  • Hi, I thought that Dr. Awad was a very professional and knowledgeable doctor of medicine and he treated me with not only respect but with regard of the fact that I am also a medical person and treated me like I had some intelligence and I thought he was a very very good doctor and I would recommend him or go to him again. In fact, I am signed up to see him again in July and that that's a good thing. My only concern is that I've read, he sent me home with a prescription for an inhaler and I read everything about the inhaler, all the accompanying paperwork and I did what it was told that I was supposed to do, but I thought maybe I was supposed to squeeze the inhaler but it's a hard plastic and there's no way to squeeze it*

  • It was a visit over the phone, would rather have a regular office visit.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
