Enitza earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the Universidad de Panama in Panama City, Panama, and completed her Family Practice residency at SUNY-Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. She then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the Universidad Interamericana de Panama. Enitza has also obtained a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Technology in Tempe, Arizona, and a subspecialty in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from the University of Alcala, Spain.
Motivated to help people and being a problem solver inspired Enitza to become a physician. She believes that new technologies powered with artificial intelligence can help offer a more intelligent and more humane medicine. She also believes that at least 90% of what’s really happening with a patient can be figured out by simply listening to the patient. A patient and physician should come together to talk and develop the best strategy for keeping the patient healthy.
When not at work, Enitza loves to travel and run marathons. She has completed a total of 52 marathons and ultra-races in all seven continents and maritime areas around the world.
