I came in to see Dr Nahigan as he was covering for my PCP. He dx me with a metatarsal fracture which was upsetting but he was so caring, educated and even fun. He made sure I had an appointment the next day with ortho doctor and set me up with crutches. He even called other ortho doctors to try to have me seen that day. I can' t say enough about the staff in the office as well as the exceptional doctor who cared for me !!

I called for a sick appointment and he was very thorough going over my previous medical history to make sure he was treating me properly. He made me smile and laugh although even while being sick. I am very pleased by my visit and would recommend others to see him. I feel comfortable knowing with [Name] [Name] on maternity leave there is someone there for me.

Was able to get an appt. within 2 hours of calling to get evaluated for shingles. Dr. Nahigyan was pleasant, upbeat and sympathetic. He checked with the nephrologist before prescribing medication. He is such a nice man.

The medical assistant was kind, easy to talk to, and provided a calm environment. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nahigyan. This was the first time I had met him and my visit was incredible from start to finish. He listened to my concerns and was thorough in his assessment and work up. He was personable and made me feel extremely comfortable during the visit. He explained to me the reasoning behind each lab and image that was order and explained his follow up plan for me in depth. I wish all providers could be exactly like him. Truly a wonderful experience.

My primary care was away and the physician that was covering saw me right away. I didn't have to wait long, I explained everything to him and he was very good at explaining everything back to me and I had to go for lab and X-ray and everyone was very nice and very prompt. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
