About Didi Theva MD
Dr. Theva earned her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, MA. She then completed an internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology at Boston Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Incontinence, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Urology at the Bladder Health & Reconstructive Urology Institute in Miramar, FL.
Dr. Theva has clinical interests in general urology, urinary incontinence, reconstructive urology, female pelvic medicine and sexual dysfunction. Her goal is to treat urologic issues that affect quality of life and provide robust, evidence-based and personalized urologic care to the community of Southcoast.
Dr. Theva has a passion for global medicine and recently volunteered with surgeons at Nazareth Hospital in Kenya with hopes to continue additional mission work in the near future.
Outside of work, Dr. Theva enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and going to the beach.

I just want to say that this was my first experience with this doctor. I made my appointment and I had to wait 3 months which I thought was unacceptable. Good for her but bad for me. I chose to say that I was seeing someone in a timely matter because from the time I got into the examining room till the time that she walked in was over 10 minutes, however she was pleasant and informative and she gave me complete relief. She seemed surprised to learn that I had three surgeries in the area that she examined.
Staff is always professional and respectful.
The provider listened well and was clear in describing the next step for my health.

Dr .Theva is a knowledgeable,and experienced Urologist .She explains everything to us and answers all our questions.My only complaint today was she was an hour late for the appointment.I understand she has a busy schedule but an hour was way too long .

I had to travel from out of town to get to my appointment. I was late, but was seen anyway. Everything about my visit was giod.

I had a very good visit with my new urologist. This was my first time. I thought she was being throw. For what I know about my condition. I can't compare her to another provider. She was very easy to talk to and she was gentle and explained everything.

I waited 45 minutes on a table half dressed I finally opened the door and asked what was taking so long.
I did have to wait awhile in the office before I was seen. However, it was a quick visit and everyone was very kinda and accommodating. The whole experience from my hospital visit at St Luke's to my stent removal in the office was excellent.
My appointment was at 1:30pm arrived early…..waited in room til 2pm to see Dr. an apology for being late goes a long way!
The check-in process was easy from the moment I arrived until seen by the doctor. Her medical assistant was very helpful explaining a basic procedure she had to perform before the doctor arrived. The doctor was so pleasant and easy to discuss various medical issues and was so positive about various options for my treatment. I felt she strongly enjoys being a doctor and helping patients!

Southcoast Health is a very good hospital, it first helped me with my weight loss and I have continued to seek help at this hospital for other problems. It is easy for me to access from Plymouth MA and I am always seen within a timely fashion, treated professionaly but also with respect and consideration. At this time, I cannot think of any improvement I can offer.
Visit on time and informative
Dr Theva listened to my concerns ordered tests to follow up and discussed with me how thru these tests we can rule out certain concerns and address what is causing my problems. Dr Theva is very professional, understanding and kind.

My surgery was differently explained to me clearly, Dr. Didi Theva made me feel confident and her ability to do the surgery. My instincts were correct. Dr. Theva successfully performed an operation on me for a prolapse. That was three years ago and there has been no further problems in that area. She also introduced me to Gemtesa which helped to control an overactive bladder. She is a wonderful empathetic person.
Dr Theva was always forthcoming about my procedure and its success rate. She guided me through pre surgery screening . She was always available for my questions. I have follow up appointments to monitor my progress.
My Dr was helpful but I still have no solution or understanding of my symptoms.

Waiting time too long
Outstanding patient Doctor communications my doctor at South Coast. Swansea is outstanding. He listens to me without judging me. I had to see the Urologist in Fairhaven and all I can say I was treated with respect and dignity.
The team has always been prompt, efficient and great bed-side manners. I always felt comfortable even in uncomfortable situations. I can't imagine how you could be better. Thank you!
