About Diane Patrick

Dr. Patrick received her medical degree from Albany Medical College. She completed an internship and residency in primary care/internal medicine at Cambridge Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. She has practiced in Fall River for 25 years. Dr. Patrick’s interests within the field of internal medicine include geriatrics and office gynecology. Dr. Patrick is board certified in internal medicine.

  • I have been a patient of newly retired Dr. [Name] for over twenty years and, at my age, choosing a new primary care doctor is difficult choice. However,I am pleasantly pleased at my choice. Dr. Patrick made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, made constructive suggestions and gave clear explanations.

  • This was a wellness visit but I did have some health concerns so I was hoping to get those addressed. When I checked the Mychart information it said the referrels made were "requested" which concerns me as I thought Dr. Patrick recommended these treatments. It made me wonder if my insurance will cover them. She also recommended I change a medication but never prescribed the new one. There are errors in my chart (I am not 5'2" I am 5.6" that I have tried to get changed since I came to Southcoast but it is never updated. Also, it doesn't show my booster shot information and I tried to get that entered while I was there also) I feel as though there is no continuity between my previous medical history at Signature and what I am getting now. Overall the switch to Southcoast has not met my expectations. Both my daughter and my sister are nurses so I understand how overwhelmed the healthcare system is right now but while the support staff are very nice I don't feel my needs are being met.

  • This is my first visit with Dr. Patrick and everyone from medical examiner to the girl who checked me out and especially Dr. Patrick. I'm, I'm so glad I switched over to her. I have want to for a couple years, but I felt bad leaving my doctor who I've been with for almost 20 years, but I'm so glad I did it, because now I feel like my health is in much better hand.

  • Yes, I had an appointment for 9:30 a.m, on July, 7th with Diane Patrick. I arrived about 10 after 8 with medical transportation. I went to the desk, told them that I was a little bit early, an hour. And if I could try to see her early and they told me that they were talk to the girls out back. And they would come out to take my vitals or stayed in about 20 minutes later. They put me in a room and the nurse inform me that she didn't know why they gave me a 9:30 appointment when Diane Patrick doesn't show up until 10, or 10:30 for her appointments. They put me in a room, and I was in the room until 5 after 11 before she came in. She took a 10 o'clock appointment and a 10:30 appointment, prior to coming to see me for a 9:30 appointment. Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
