  • It took 3 months to get an appointment - the Dr would not give me comfermation until getting the cat scan - she recieved it one hour after my thursday appointment. it took 7 calls on my part to get a return call - on monday and she seemed distracted and possibly eating a meal. when i questioned her about things i was feeling her response was go to the er. she did comfirm i have diverticularitis from the test - but said to stay on liuid diet. our phone conversation was disconected - after 30 minutes she did not call back. and i had to call again to get her to answer a few more questions - and when she did finally call back i was so angry i forgot a few questions.going to the er in october and having no guidance was terrible and all info online is contridictry.

  • It's all good

  • Dr Decondau00A0was very good with me-good listener, good sense of humor, super knowledgeable, seemed to care, explained things slowly and clarified/repeated patiently if I didn't understand. One of the best doctors I've ever seen actually. Wish she was a GP! Office was quick and nice. In and out quickly. People in the lab very really nice too. Good experience.

  • Great customer service

  • Terrific staff and Dr. Saw me early! Never happened in California

  • From the moment I was called by Dr. DeConda's nurse [Name] I was received pleasantly and courteously. She is a lovely person and very efficient. Dr. DeConda was attentive and listened to my concerns. She was caring and offered good advice on attaining my health goals. Very good doctor.

  • The doctor was extremely unprofessional and basically told me "I could have cancer but tomorrows a holiday so we'll call you back Friday."

  • I personally prefer in office visits instead of telecom visits.

  • Dr Deconda was attentive, caring and knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns and came up with an excellent solution to my medical problems. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

  • To improve my experience Would be to hire more staff. When I visit south coast everything is rushed.

  • I received gracious care, was offered a timely appointment. I am very grateful.

  • Amazing service in every respect. I feel that my health is in the hands of a top notch provider which makes me totally optimistic about my treatment

  • This was my first time seeing Dr. Deconda and I absolutely love her. She listened to my ailments and made me feel at ease.

  • Getting a quicker visit. It was over a month for a telehealth visit.

  • Prompt check in, review of symptoms and medical decisionmaking. Done very well.

  • This was my first appointment with this dr. I was very impressed with her sincere interest in meeting my medical needs. She listened and provided information that was very understandable. She explained next steps and why they will help determine my needs fir good healthExcellent caring dr!

  • Dr DaConda was so warm and welcoming. She took her time to explain all test results. She answered every question I asked. When I left I felt so reassured and confident. This was my first visit with Dr DaConda and it was a referral fromMy primary for a specific blood result. She eased my worries with clear explanation. Thank you!

  • Very concerned and listened about my problem I was having swallowing. I've had this Doctor on another procedure and am pleased she will be taking care of me again.

  • I was seen shortly after I got in the office.

  • Pleased with the visit. I wish I had better computer skills so I could Zoom.

  • Dr Deconda explain everything in language I would understand Thank you

  • I was told several times thru texts etc that my appointment was at 9:15 at Charlton. I took my dog to day care, drove up from Middletown, and was told my appointment was by phone, not in person. This was extremely poor communication.

  • I really would like an in person appointment

  • Being able to make in person/ sick appointments in a timely manner is always an issue

  • All went well with my appointment.

  • Dr. Deconda always takes time to address any of my questions/concerns.

  • Very fast but also efficient

  • Dr DaConda is very empathetic. She listens to your concerns. She gives you guidance and a concrete plan to move forward

  • First appointment with provider prior to scheduling a Colonoscopy screening. Doctor reviewed medical records from prior screenings during visit and recommended Endoscopy screening be considered. Access to site for screenings closer to my home was suggested by Dr. DeConda in Dartmouth which will be more convenient for me. Brief and productive encounter. Prefer a female physician.

  • good

  • Was really dissapointed by this provider as she basically said, we checked everything we could, we can't do anything else, here have some pain meds. It's like she didn't even try to think.

  • I felt that Dr. Deconda was very kind, had a sweet bedside manner. Tell me what I wanted to know about what I had to do. And even convinced me to do some testing for my check up that I've been afraid to do. So I really appreciated that.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
