About David Farber

Dr. Farber is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Farber performs diagnostic cardiology services at Charlton Memorial Hospital and the Truesdale Clinic including echocardiography, cardiac stress testing, and cardiac computed tomography. He enjoys bringing data-driven, high quality cardiology care to the greater Fall River community.

Everyone in the office are really polite and courteous. And the doctor himself that I saw, I almost feel like family with him. He listens well. He sits there and cares about how you're really feeling and how you think you can improve your health matters. And he goes over the goals that we're trying to keep. And I also like the other cardiologist in his office. He's my husband's cardiologist. Gee, I was in the hospital for 45 days, and they treated me like family. Every time they walked by the room, they always said hi. They were polite and courteous, and I can't ask for any better. And I hope they continue the good work. Thank you.

Dr. David Farber is a wonderful listener. He is a skilled man. I've been coming to him for a number of years. I have a very complex case and I think he does the best he can with a complex case like this that we're all trying to figure out. So I would recommend him. I think he's a wonderful man and I think he's a great listener and I think he does what he can with the situation to the best of his ability. I wish there was more I could do for my health to get it under control. It's just a complex. But I really do like Dr. Farber. He's a very fine man and a very just compassionate provider. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
