About Daniel Park

Dr. Park received his MD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, after which he traveled east to complete a surgical internship and anesthesia residency at Boston Medical Center. He also completed a chronic pain management fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s/Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston.

Dr. Park is board certified in anesthesia, with a subspecialty in pain management. His past pro bono work has included providing free clinical care in Uzbekistan and Kenya, and also teaching English to children in a Jamaican orphanage.

  • My appointment was on time

  • Dr Daniel Park is the best pain Management physician I've had You can tell everyone that!

  • The staff was extremely friendly. The doctor (INAUDIBLE) was very rude, rushed. Just didn't want to hear or look into anything. He just wanted to hurry up with the appointment and get it over with and get me out. Alright. Yeah. First time I went to see him and... I don't know. I don't know if it'll be (INAUDIBLE) with me. Thank you.

  • Provider seemed to be in a hurry. I was trying to explain a certain possibly related condition to him and he made it a point that the visit was over by opening the door and moving the computer out of the way. He was not in the least interested. He stopped me mid sentence! Time's up.

  • Dr Park is very serious about my pain medication and he's always caring and interested in what I have to say. He seems very knowledgeable about my disease. I really like having him as my provider.

  • Dr. Park is always right on top of things. And always listen to me and asked me how I'm doing, if my medications going well, if I'm nauseous, if I have always asked questions by and having diarrhea still and how much pain I'm in. And I just found him very, very good. I just had surgery and he was (INAUDIBLE) That's it, I think he's a very good doctor.

  • I liked that I didn't wait long before being called in. Also the people were nice and it was my first visit there but Dr. Park seemed to be a very nice person and a doctor i can feel comfortable with. Everything was great accept I went there for my pain but he was only focusing on my back pain when I had told him about the pain from arthritis in my knees, ankles, and hands. The back is a new thing, so maybe he just didn't have my past info from my specialist about the other things so it may not be his fault. Maybe he just didn't think it was important because he didn't see it from a doctor but it is in my medical record. Other than that he was great!

  • Dr. Park always knows me and my case. What needs to be done to make me more comfortable and to help my current situation. I thank Dr. Park for my years he has spent trying to help me.

  • I had no idea what was going on. I had a very quick telehealth. Was told to come in with no reasoning. Showed up provided urine screen as asked and there was no follow up as to what to do from there. I checked on my chart to find they scheduled me for a follow up apt in 1 week?

  • I never have had a problem with the staff and I am always treated with respect . Due to covid-19 appointment has taken more time . I hope things get better with this as times goes .

  • I was disappointed in the amount of time that it took between the referral and the telephone calls. And now, I have to wait for the insurance company to approve it, to approve the injections. And I just think that there should be a way that this could be improved.

  • I would say, provider was nice. I would say their visit did feel rushed like I wanted to kind of explain things sometimes, but it was kind of just expected. I think to be like, yes, no, and it was kind of difficult answering some of the questions like that and then my other advice would be to know your camera placement during the townhouse and What you're doing to get all kinds of (INAUDIBLE) seems by the patient, so that's all anyway. Thank you.

  • Dr. Park has a great understanding of knee pain.Something i have lived and endured most of my life.

  • My provider always asks me how I've been with my pain & how my pain levels are. I describe during the duration since my last appointment how much pain increased or decreased.

  • It was my 1st appoint with concerns for my pain management and I was very happy with the decision to change my medication that I've been on for a long time. It seemed to be a positive decision that I feel will be going on the right direction to help me.

  • They are still scheduling patients to be seen in person and they provide instructions on how to get to the office. However, when you arrive at the office, they tell you it's a telehealth call

  • Dr. Park listens to me and explains things clearly so that I understand. He really seems to care. There is no question that I can't ask him. He's always very polite and professional. He treats me like a person, not just another patient. He seems to really understand what I deal with on a daily basis.

  • When it come to a tellahealth visit they should take in to consideration that calling 1hour b4 the visit to check them in if the person does not receive the call in time a message should be left for a return call and when I did call back to check in I got a attitude thank you for letting me vent hopefully this will not happen again ??

  • The staff was kind especially the woman who checks you out. Dr. Park is always kind and he listens to me. He was prompt. He examines me. He's a good doctor. I've been with him for several years.

  • I had my first television with Dr. Park, and he was more concerned on my drug overdose after I lost my brother, and my challenges that I had and wasn't...and he wasn't interested in my pain management and he forgot the medication he was supposed to prescribe me. So, I stayed continue the lien pain and we'll discuss this with him with a higher doctor, in office, when the time is appropriate.

  • There was some confusion upon my arrival at the Pain Clinic -- I had notification/confirmation thru MYCHART that my visit was to be an 'in office' visit but the Pain Clinic had me down for a tele-appointment ... the doctor I was scheduled to see doesn't come to the Pain Clinic on Mondays, the day my in-office appointment had been scheduled for. The staff was fabulous, allowing me to do a tele-visit while in-office. Not sure what was off in the MYCHART system. I was told I was the 4th person with the same dilemma that day.

  • Dr park's is a very smart and intelligent doctor he listens and explains in detail love his alternative medicine approach also

  • I have always been treated very respectful an with great care from all the staff @ Dr Parks office!! He always asks me how I'm doing through out the month w/my health issues an medications!! Also with my emotions an life!! Witch is important to me in a Doctor!!

  • All the support staff and scheduling up to the appointment was good. The visit- I felt cut off at the end and did not have a chance to ask all the questions I wanted before the Dr ended the call. After visit- I was supposed to get a call back to make an appointment for a cortisone shot and the office never called. Not sure if this was the Dr or the staff.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
