About Daniel Park

Dr. Park received his MD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, after which he traveled east to complete a surgical internship and anesthesia residency at Boston Medical Center. He also completed a chronic pain management fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s/Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston.

Dr. Park is board certified in anesthesia, with a subspecialty in pain management. His past pro bono work has included providing free clinical care in Uzbekistan and Kenya, and also teaching English to children in a Jamaican orphanage.

  • I have always been treated very respectful an with great care from all the staff @ Dr Parks office!! He always asks me how I'm doing through out the month w/my health issues an medications!! Also with my emotions an life!! Witch is important to me in a Doctor!!

  • Very efficient and friendly staff

  • All the support staff and scheduling up to the appointment was good. The visit- I felt cut off at the end and did not have a chance to ask all the questions I wanted before the Dr ended the call. After visit- I was supposed to get a call back to make an appointment for a cortisone shot and the office never called. Not sure if this was the Dr or the staff.

  • HE is very abrupt, not personal, doesn't look you in the eye when you are talking or take the time to listen and respond patiently. Always seems in a hurry. Literally was in the room with me for 7 mins. Was performing exam while I was trying to describe the history of the issue. I couldnt focus on talking and responding to the pain during his exam.

  • Always professional but friendly, kind considerate and understanding. Really cares about me as a person and addresses all my health issues. Everyone in the office are wonderful!!!

  • Everything about the appointment went very well, keep doing the same thing.

  • This particular visit, on 9/21, was the first time I ever felt rushed and unheard from Dr. Park. I am hoping he was just having a bad day & this was a fluke.

  • In my chart it did say it was a tele visit so I drove 25 minutes to my appointment and found out it was a tele visit!!!

  • In that you are asked to rate your pain, I think having the SC pain scale available (maybe on the portal) would be beneficial. Otherwise it is really a subjective guess and may not accurately reflect the level of pain being experienced.

  • Everything went well. It just seems like to provider always tries to rush off the phone. Like rushing me off the phone and that's all we complain. I have besides that my experiences all good.

  • Dr. Park always help me out with my pain level for my serious injury that I have and it's always greatly appreciated.

  • The just wanted to say that this was only the second time that I have spoken with this doctor and staff and everything was okay as far as I was you know as far as my visits we're go I'm not really fond of television's but that's what's available but there's nothing against the staffs it so that I didn't push attend because I don't feel that really know them well enough to give them a perfect rating so just wanted to say that just because I didn't give him a 10 doesn't mean they don't deserve it but I feel I don't know them well enough to do that yet thank you.

  • Dr Park was extremely nice, he listened to my problems and what I had to say, he took into consideration my feelings, and thoughts I really really enjoyed talking to him, he gave me some alternatives to medication and game plan for us to go forward, and have better pain management for me which I'm in a lot of and I appreciate it.

  • I don't like tele visits, in person is so much more helpful feels more comfortable hearing things from a face not a receiver. I'm not ordering Pizza this is about my pain not my pleasure.

  • He was very nice and actually listened to me and gave me an Explanation and didn't brush me off like other doctors do just because I'm young and healthy and he gave me options to get on a path for some type of pain relief. He was amazing! And I'm living in much more comfort without as much pain as I was before. It feels great to feel normal and do normal things without being in pain

I'm not sure but he is one of the most understanding, most sympathetic, he care so much about it. He does. Well, I'll speak for myself. He care so much about me. He does. He listens to me. He's he looks right in my eyes when I speak to him. And if I you know right now I'm in bad, worst shape I've ever been in my life and he's such a caring man. He really is I really care about my doctor. I I love him, you know as a patient doctor relationship. Yeah. He's a wonderful wonderful provider and I wouldn't change*

  • I went to covid shot and they were fried and very fast

  • Couldn't give me the proper information. Didn't know my chart very well. Couldn't answer my questions the way I wanted them answered. He didn't know much about me at all. Like he never looked over my chart. I'm not happy with this provider at all, if I had my choice I'd pick a different one.

  • My tele Heath appt was @ 11:30am. I had 3 missed calls & a voicemail before 10am. I called back right at 10am- 3 minutes after the last call I got & spoke to someone. No one called me back. I waited till 11:45am, called again about my 11:30- finally got checked in & was told the Dr was at lunch & would call me @ 1:15pm

  • I was totally satisfied with the experience

  • I was apprehensive about a phone visit for my first appointment, but Dr. Park made me feel very comfortable and I felt his questions were spot on.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
