  • Very satisfied

  • Dr. Eil is so personable and so willing to spend time explaining things and options to you. That I was very happy to be able to meet with him in person and not have to do telehealth again.

  • It has always been a pleasure to talk to him,he has made my condition a lot easier to live with,he's patient, kind and understanding, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him,he made me realize that my health will be with me for the rest of my life and that I needed to take care of it and that is one thing that I ever so needed since the beginning so Thank You.

  • Your greeter at the door was spot on with his directions. Maybe better informed staff at the main lobby desk to direct patients to the correct office would help. I walked all over trying to get to my appointment on time. It would be more helpful if the desk person could read a written direction from reception to give a direction to a location. Everyone was very pleasant and kind, but being a first time patient to your facility and very nervous about my procedure I may not have explained my destination accurately. Once I finally arrived I was fine. I walk with a cane so ended up winded from the extra anxiety.

  • Dr Eil is a brilliant and compassionate doctor I am fortunate to have him

  • I could not really understand the doctor the phone. Phone call went in and out in and out. It could have been a lot better. Bye person.

  • Appointment was timely scheduled and the doctor was knowledgeable and patient answering all our questions.

  • Dr. Eil has always been top notch regarding my care. Dr. Eil listens carefully, and explains plainly and full, answers to all my questions. Never forget the importance of the time it takes to just be human and interact with the patient. Many times in healthcare facilities doctors are on a time clock with minimal time allotted for a patient visit. You often feel like a product on a production line. Not so with Dr. Eil and also Dr. [Name], both doctors are not only excellent technically but take the time to get to know you which helps them diagnose and adjust your healthcare to your life.

  • The only problem is no hands on to check blood pressure and palpitate neck.

  • Did well. All!

  • there were no problems

  • It was my first telehealth experience. I think it went extremely well. Everyone was very professional.

  • He noticed my cholesterol was high and I had family history of cholesterol issues / heart issues and prescribed statins, something my previous endocrinologist for 4 years missed.

  • I had a good experience, no need to improve

  • I found this doctor to be very informed about my condition. He was very knowledgeable and took his time looking over my medical history to put together a plan for my recovery from this condition.

  • Dr. Eil explained everything very well and we discussed options that would work for my needs.

  • Courteous staff and informed and apologized for doctors delay

  • There was a long period of wait time before I was able to get into a room.

  • I really don't enjoy talking on the phone. It doesn't allow you to get your blood pressure, which I feel is important.

  • Friendly and professional

  • This is the first time I saw this provider but was totally satisfied.

  • I'm not sure if my appointment for next year has been booked. I will need to logon or call the office. Maybe it should be done during the check in process.

  • The office adhered to all the covid precautions. They also had all my record information and test results together that pertained to that appt, some of them were not from a southcoast location. Im a long term patient there and have always been happy with their care.

  • the telconf was on time and beneficial. missed the blood pressure/weighing event.

  • Great Endocrinologist. He was clear and present.Very professional.

  • The thing that I liked so much, even on a virtual telecommunication with Dr. Eil, is it I have a history with him, and so we know each other. So, he knows ... he knows what I need as far as vitamins, and care, and I like the way he tells me not to fall. I like the way that he told me to get a vaccine, and I also like that the nursing staff is so courteous, and will answer any questions that I have. So, thank you very much.

  • Good visit

  • I just wish this provider was closer to me. I have no transportation and have to arrange for a family member to bring me. Public transport would require 8 buses and half the day to get there and back. Otherwise I am pleased with this provider.

  • I was very satisfied with the doctor's care, but at one point two of the receptionist in the office area did not have their mask on so it made me very uncomfortable since I don't really go out that much during covid.

  • Staff was very pleasant appointment for 1pm was seen on time Dr Eil is the best

  • My televisit went fine. My only complaint about this particular location is that the parking options are awful. (Obviously doesn't apply to this televisit)

  • The audio for the video chat was terrible. Dr Eil has to call me and do face time.

  • Dr. Eil is thorough and responsive to your health condition. Well informed on your status w a plan to maintain your progress. He is direct n honest and trustworthy.

  • the visit was very good and i was treated with kindness i would recommend this doctor to very one i know

  • altho' the provider did not rush the telehealth visit, I prefer the on line visit during this pandemic.

  • Explained the tests I had andanswered my questions and explained the scores to me. This was my first experience with a phone appointment.

  • Everything went well. Dr Eil is always kind and nurturing. He is helping me change one of my meds for diabetes. Hoping this oral medication will lower my blood sugars. If it doesn't work for me, or agree with me, he has a plan B. I appreciate his help!

  • This provider and staff are knowledgeable, kind and caring

  • Very concerned about my health, very informative, no rushing and took as much time as he needed to explained everything to me

  • There's always room for improvement. But I think Southcoast is great.

  • I experience telehealth as a stop-gap alternative, and not a good substitute for doctor-patient interaction.Happily, Dt. Eil and I have 25 years of keeping me out of too much trouble.

  • My doctor and the care team are great. Video visits aren't quiet the same as in person though.

  • Everything was done as expected considering it was a Tele health call and Not in office visit

  • I have been a patient of Dr. Eils for more than 15 years. He has been able to help me control my diabetes with an A1C of less than 7 for the past several years. I highly recommend this doctor.

  • I'm very happy with Dr. Eil and his staff. Always helpful and encouraging

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
