At Southcoast Health, we strive to deliver exceptional patient care along with an exceptional patient experience. We appreciate all of your feedback and share your comments to recognize the wonderful care our teams provide to you as well as identify areas for improvement.

  • The provider seemed less interested in asking me questions about my health, goals, day-to-day life and instead spent the visit lecturing me about my health. It would have been more productive if she spent the time to ask what I eat, what I do for exercise, what my own personal health goals are, etc. She spent the entire visit talking about herself.

  • My first time seeing this provider and I did like her. What I do not like at all is that I was there for my yearly physical and had to make a separate appointment with the lab for blood work. It doesn't make sense and makes it more difficult for the patient. I don't know of anyone else that has to do this when seeing their physician. Early morning appointments are almost never available which makes it even more difficult for those who work.

  • Early appt made it easy to be taken on time office visit as well as lab work

  • I had a good experience with my new provider.

  • Wonderful care.

  • After my arrival, within in a few minutes, I was escorted into an examination room. I was seen and treated for an eye infection by Catherine Moretti. She was skilled, professional, kind, and personable...a wonderful experience for me. Thank you, Catherine!

  • I appreciate being seen right away and having labs arranged immediately as that was significant to my diagnosis snd treatment plan.

  • Catherine and Dr. Chesney's office for over 20 years, has been absolutely awesome. Have nothing but praise for all of them, all of their staff, everyone.

  • I was seen promptly, and all of my concerns were addressed. Follow up is planned. I feel confident that I got the best care possible. Catherine and the staff did a great job. I honestly can't think of any improvements to suggest.

  • First visit with Catherine Moretti. I found her very easy to talk to.

  • Catherine Moretti is very easy to talk to and very nice.

  • Everything great!

  • The only thing I was upset about was, while checking in the clerk said "so your here for your pap?". I looked around to the people in the waiting room, mortified.

  • Very knowledgeable took the time to talk with me about my medicines actually wrote down how I should take my new medicine and prescribed another new medicine on top of what I'm taking right now very well done

  • It is much, this was the first time I've seen this provider a lot of your questions just didn't apply. I found her confident friendly willing to listen to my questions. Give me feedback on anything that she thought might be helpful, but giving a 1 to 10 on an awful lot of stuff, just doesn't make sense.

  • Prompt service from everyone involved

  • Catherine was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable.

  • I was pleased to meet Dr. Moretti as my new PCP. She is very personable, asked questions, and made me feel comfortable. We discussed a number of issues and identified areas to target first. She asked for my input as to what issues we should address first. I am very happy with our initial meeting.

  • My first time with Dr. Moretti and I am over the moon happy. She was so kind and caring and explained every single word she said. I was extremely nervous as I have a few issues and she kept saying we'll get this done..you need to work hard at this..but we'll get there. I feel so much better knowing I am in good hands! I'm telling everyone about her and South Coast

  • I always feel as though the staff are really listening. Nurses and P.A. Moretti are wonderful

  • The appointment was very nice, and she was very helpful and she's a very nice and good doctor.

  • I think I am going to be very satisfied with Catherine Moretti as my Primary Care person since the retirement of Dr [Name]

  • They listened and talked to me

  • I have been a patient of this office along with my family (under the care of Dr [Name] [Name] for many years! He and the staff in this office are exceptional! Now that Dr. [Name] has retired, I chose Catherine Morette PA as our family PCP so that we would remain in this office. I've seen Catherine and am very happy to have made the choice to remain with Southcoast. The care received from both doctors and staff is commanding! They're all caring, friendly and most professional.

  • Pretty straightforward sometimes I feel like she over I hope that was pretty good. I think that the issue was any time I came into looking at past records she had mentioned that it would take a lot of time and she have to dig so we can do that and the other thing I want to bring up. Oh, yeah she's ... she said that she is a physician assistant, so didn't have the experience to kind of try to diagnose any of my issues, so making another appointment in June, getting some blood work done. I think given a physician assistant she did a great jobs it wasn't exactly everything I needed, but I guess that.

  • Unfortunately I was there for a audiologist referral. After I called for the referral and was told that it would not be until July or August. That was unacceptable. I like the primary office, but I'm not happy with the schedule of southcoast as a health care provider. I went to another provider and already have had my hearing evaluated and have hearing aids. Since my primary doctor has retired, I now need to get a new one and this has made me question what health care provider I will go to.

  • Had a great experience and I always get seen the same day I call and everyone is knowledgeable and friendly.

  • Love Southcoast

  • Very pleasant and easy from start to finish...

  • Yes, it was a good experience going there, and she really listen to me with my problems, and did the research of looking around was very happy with the visit.

  • Efficient, safe and professional services

  • I love who I see and am always taken care of very professional as always and very understanding

  • Staff was very attentive

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
