About Britt Sibson

Britt Sibson, FNP-BC earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Simmons College in Boston, MA. Previously, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies at Brown University, Providence, RI. Britt’s clinical interests include adolescent health and gynecology. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Prior to pursuing a career in nursing, Britt traveled around the world, leading study abroad programs for high school students. Britt has always loved meeting new people, listening to their stories and helping them in their times of need. Becoming a nurse practitioner combines her professional goals and personal interests. 

With a vested interest in the South Coast, she has returned home to care for the community that has supported her and her loved ones.

In her free time, Britt enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and listening to music.

  • Dr [Name] is amazing, I met with the nurse practitioner today and she was just as good (Britt) Very professional, attentive and thorough. Areas of improvement would be at reception. Twice now I have walked in and the woman with the curly hair was on her cell phone. The first time I actually waited on hold for a good amount of time and could not believe it when I walked in and realized the reason I waited is because 3 woman at reception were gathered around looking at her cell phone....very unprofessional! Lastly I am pretty sure the 1st woman who checked my vitals smokes because that was all I could smell while she was taking my blood pressure. My referral appointment to physical therapy for my bladder was another positive experience today even though I waited 10 minutes after my appointment time to be seen when they asked me to arrive 15 minutes early.

  • Yes hello, I love the doctors. I love the nurse practitioners. They're all great. The receptionists upfront, well, they need some work. My visits have been either not canceled or not called back. Or it, it's just every time I've gone there, there's been a problem with either what time I'm there, I'm at the wrong time, the wrong day. When I know that I'm there at the right time. I would see 1 mishap, but now I've had like 4. So upfront needs a lot, a lot of work. Right down to their personalities I want to say. But the, all the doctors, the nurses are great.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
