About Brett Hurteau
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Hurteau is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He completed his residency in family medicine at the Brown University Family Medicine Residency Program at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Hurteau is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
He is a clinical assistant professor of Family Medicine at Brown University and is on the community faculty — Brown Family Practice Residency program.
Dr. Hurteau is a long-time resident of New Bedford.
