  • Experience was fine.

  • Dr. Somerto has been and continues to be a kind and understanding provider. After seeing numerous specialists in [Name], [Name] [Name] NP and Dr. Somerto listened to me and treated me like I mattered. They continue to take excellent care of me and treat me with the upmost respect despite having worker's comp for insurance. Even though what I have is rare and the exact treatment is unknown they are willing to work with me to help make me better.

  • No need to improve

  • This was my first time coming to the [Name] office. Everyone was very kind. Made me feel comfortable. It was also my first time seeing Dr.Somerto and she was amazing!! Such an informative dr. Came into the appt already knowing things about my history. Made me feel like she truly cared and took the time to read my chart/history before seeing me as a patient. Will definitely be coming back to see her more often!!

  • All was good. Have next testing scheduled.

  • Professional staff. Organized and respectful of my time. Caring attitude and extremely bright provider.

  • Things seem to take a very long retime whether it be an appointment or replys

  • Even though I would rather go to the office; telehealth is an acceptable alternative. It’s great that the office calls ahead and makes sure you’re ready to get the text. Everyone is always friendly, polite and caring.

  • She was very understanding she knew exactly what I was talking about she recommended the exact correct medication and she was very concerned it had a good bedside manner and I will see her again

  • Diagnosed my issues with my fingers quickly and accurately.

  • Everyone was professional

  • Dr Somerto was a outstanding new neurologist for my daughters complex medical/neuro brain needs for the first visit!

  • The amount of time I had to wait to get the initial tele health appointment was really long... about one month. And then once I had the appointment, I was told I would have to wait an additional 20 days until I could come in for the testing I need. When you don’t feel well and something is very wrong in your body, it’s hard to wait this long. Especially after coming from primary care first... since you can’t self refer into Neurology. Too long a process for people needing this type of care.

  • Was for testing. Very informative

  • Dr Somerto was knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. I was very happy with her

  • Iam very pleased with my care

  • Provider was aware, concerned and provided an action plan. Spoke with my wife and me. Provider knowledgeable.

  • Doctor Somerto was kind, she listened and she was very helpful and encouraging.

  • Was very pleased with my on line visit thank you all so much for all you do????

  • The only problem was with the computer it needed to be rebooted so I was moved to another room. Not a problem. Staff were great, very professional!

  • It was a video call but I feel she did a great job listening to my concerns.

  • Just continue what you are doing.

  • I was impressed. This is my first audio office is it and I was impressed at how much we could interact. I thought it was very good.

  • We did a virtual call with the provider and everything went well.

  • The office staff are always very friendly. Always help if you have questions. Dr.Someto is great. She always listens, she has helped me so much with my migraines. I cant thank her enough. Shes a great Dr.

  • I was pleased to see that those who were treating me had masks on and so did I. It made me less anxious.

  • The entire staff is amazing! Dr. Somerto was very thorough and provides excellent care. She allowed the time for me and my husband to not only ask questions but discuss various options for treatment. She is part of a team of doctors/PTs that are working together to help me. [Name] [Name] is the most compassionate provider. She was able to help me because she listened to me. After several years and many visits to 4 [Name] hospitals, she was the one to not only diagnose me but also made referrals to other appropriate providers for me. Now all of those providers are working as a team to help me.

  • The front desk staff almost appear stand-offish due to COVID. I got the impression that they just wish we wouldn’t come in. They also see you standing there and they act like they don’t. Then they try to push you off to someone else like can you see what this patient needs. It comes off a bit cold. We are all trying to get through this and we can’t stop life because of it. The clinical staff [Name] and Dr Somerto were great! As well as the checkout staff I think her name was [Name]

  • Excellent everything went well

  • Dr. Somerto listened to my issues more intently than my previous doctor and was very proactive in determining my illness. She quickly responded with follow up test plans and treatment. I was very impressed with her attitude and response.

  • Dr Somerto and [Name] [Name] are the best

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
