  • I prefer in person Doctor visits but this was a reasonable substitute given my present Migraine situation is pretty good. I had difficulty understanding Dr. Somerto's accent at times but we managed well! She was very thorough and I am happy to be under her care.

  • Everyone was friendly and informative

  • This office, the staff and the provider has the best overall attitude, positive attitude and is usually on-time and gets you in and out quickly. They are pleasant and courteous and I have never been treated so well as I have at this office. I can't say enough positive things about the Wareham Southcoast office, other offices should pay attention to how the staff, even the staff that checks you in, handles patients!

  • Dr. Somerto was thorough. She asked questions regarding prior EMG testing bit their was no record we could access. She requested permission of release to obtain necessary info of prior testing although she was thorough in explaining drs can view results differ.( I hadn't considered that). I look forward to working with her so I can walk prayfully normal again . I will do everywhere recommends. Her staff were as wonderful, efficient and kind as well. I am truly grateful! Thank you Dr. SOMERTO

  • Overall, a great experience, from the check-in process to the actual appointment with Dr. Somerto.

  • MyFirst meeting with Dr. Somerto. Considerate, thoughtful, knowledgeable. Explained things to me. Hands on checking my eyes, balance. Honest in her answers. I felt comfortable in her care, and with scheduled follow up visit. Excellent visit.

  • Rite on the ball

  • on time ,professional, and answered all my concerns

  • Listend to how I was feeling. Orderd some test

  • I felt it was a very productive appointment. Dr. Somerto is very personal and thorough. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

  • Didn't have to wait at all. The entire process was very quick without the feeling of being rushed. Provider took the time to discuss strategies on a topic that I wasn't being treated for per se in this visit. Receptionist was also very sweet. Provider was thorough as well.

  • It was like being in the room personally with the Dr.

  • Timely, very professional, recommended immediate direction for potential solution to the problem

  • The doctor and her assistance, were excellent. Thank you.

  • I saw my doctor on time. This was the first time I saw her and the first time I had this procedure. I felt she could have told me a little more about what to expect. I had to ask questions.

  • Doctor Somerto always listens to my symptoms and works with me to try new medications as well as testing.

  • This was my first visit with this specialist.

  • Excellent care need no improvement

  • Dr. Anna is an exceptional doctor. She cares about my health and she is a wonderful listener. Dr. Anna took me in as a new client and she changed my health care in the very first appointment.

  • Very professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. Very pleased with everything. Thank you.

  • Dr Somerto is very tuned in to my concerns. She f/u on all issues from previous appt. She explained results of my labs & MRI clearly. Explained that she would eval the EEG IN Oct and I'd have a F/u appt with her PCP

  • Dr. Somerto listened to everything I had to say and took her time with me. I have to say its hard to find providers that listen and take their time with patients.

  • She explained everything she was doing before she did anything. She would ask me to do what i needed to do to help her testing go completely fine

  • First time patient at this facility- wonderful staff.MD, staff, reception was awesome; helpful to assist. Phlebotomy was welcoming. ** I called Friday morning, asking if my wallet had been found found in neurology or phlebotomy. [Name]" took the call to search for wallet. Keeping me up to date-- LATER, [Name] called me at home and confirmed the wallet was not found. KUDOS to [Name], so professional and kind. She deserves many kudos! My best, [Name][Name]

  • Dr Somerto was very attentive, and had all of my medical history. She listened and asked questions. Very Happy.

  • Entire staff were friendly and very helpful. Created very pleasant and welcoming experience. Dr Somerto is top notch and insightful using my medical history and current symptoms.

  • Dr. Somerto is the best. I would recommend her services to everybody who needs her care.

  • Think it's a shame it takes 4-5 months to get your 1st appointment. Although it was not critical for my issue, aware of it being a problem for other pressing issues.

  • I think Dr. Somerto is a wonderful physician. She listens well and is focused on discussing a variety of treatment options. Very caring and compassionate. The only weak link was the check-in staff. There were 2 on duty; one seemed to keep her head down and avoid eye contact, whereas the other was involved in a long chat with someone. I was waiting (as the only person in line) for a good 15 minutes. This delayed the doctor's ability to see me and increases inefficiency within the chain of care.

  • Maybe actually listen to patient instead of interrupting everything I say. Didn't ask about anything other than head aches after waiting almost a year to find a neurologist. I have a lot going on and they don't even ask

  • they are very helpful

  • Provider made me feel rushed and seemed to dismiss my thoughts and concerns

  • Disregarded at check in as receptionist was busy solving an issue and then pressured by same receptionist to get paperwork completed. Last visit of the day and it was clear many had checked out already.

  • Staff was pleasant and doctor really didn't listen much after we talked about meds I'm on.

  • The doctor impressed me as very capable and experienced.

  • The doctor was great, the medical assistants great, check in desk great. At check out not as professional as expected, but not bad experience overall

  • Improve wait time for appointment. Waited 6 months for appointment

  • Everything done well.

  • The doctor asked questions about my habits and things I do tp keep healthy. She also gave me suggestions about what I can do to improve my health.I felt she was interested in helping me gain control over my diet and exercise to help me improve my health. She also pointed out areas where I needed to improve and made suggestions on how to improve my health. Exercise was discussed at leangth as well as what I choose to eat.

  • I have been involved with this office, several years. Of my visits, the provider was different almost every time, and even at the Rosebrook site, which is closer for me, I believe I was seen there once and told they had no provider available, from then on. Now, after a couple years, back to Rosebrook.I was very happy this visit with the staff and provider, who is the first neurologist that really listened and seemed genuinely interested in my problems and how to help me. At my age, most drs seem to not listen and act. Thank you Dr. Somerto, for being professional!

  • Just getting an appt. The wait was 4 mos which I accepted and then the Dr cancelled my appt the day before it was scheduled. Then the earliest appt available to me was almost 5 mos away even though I explained that I was not the one cancelling and that I was in some discomfort. I understand the need to cancel sometimes ( adding to a 3 day weekend) but more of an effort should be made to see those patients.

  • Explained procedure

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
