About Albert Fox

Dr. Fox is a graduate of Yale University and the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Missouri.

Dr. Fox has a strong interest in treatment of head and neck skin cancer, reconstruction of facial defects, and facial trauma. He also has a strong interest in the treatment of sinus disease and general otolaryngology problems.

Dr. Fox volunteers his services with Face to Face, a non-profit, humanitarian organization that provides care to those who suffer from facial deformities caused by birth or trauma. Dr. Fox has travelled to China and Vietnam with Face to Face to provide care for patients and education for physicians.

He is dual board-certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

  • Dr. Albert Fox is incredible as a person and a Doctor. Eight years ago I had a massive Brain Tumor and he rebuilt my entire skull with Titanium Plates. I have since been seeing him for another problem and he always knows what he is talking about and has me get the ultra sounds that I need and follows through. He is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would appreciate receiving an appointment card. I asked for one and was informed that they are not given anymore. The appointment listed on the discharge summary print out is not helpful in assisting me to remember my next appointment. I use the card. I place it on my bathroom mirror as a reminder. It also has the Dr. Fox's phone number which is of assistance if I need to call the office. Thank you.

  • Doctor could diagnose my medical problem according to my symptoms.

  • Dr. Fox is an excellent surgeon. I believe that he took extra time with my surgery to make sure that everything worked out well. He answered all of my questions. He is hard-working and meticulous, and I believe he did the best possible job on my nose. He is willing to work with me to make corrections if needed.

  • The waiting period to be seen is poor. I suggest that if a provider is running late the office should text the patient to let them know of a delay in the appt.- thus the pt doesn't have to sit for 45min to an hour to wait. I could be doing other things and then go to the appt.

  • Dr. Fox, ENT, was excellent, great doctor, don't lose him.

  • I waited over an hour after I was checked in and in the examination room to Before that was a 20 min wait in the lobby.

  • Dr. Fox was running very late, so he was very rushed with me. Barely spoke to me, didn't ask how I was doing, spent maybe 5 minutes with me. [Name] was great - asked me how I was doing, checked my hearing aids, fixed one, tested my hearing.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Helpfulness of Clerks & Receptionists, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
