About Albert Fox

Dr. Fox is a graduate of Yale University and the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Missouri.

Dr. Fox has a strong interest in treatment of head and neck skin cancer, reconstruction of facial defects, and facial trauma. He also has a strong interest in the treatment of sinus disease and general otolaryngology problems.

Dr. Fox volunteers his services with Face to Face, a non-profit, humanitarian organization that provides care to those who suffer from facial deformities caused by birth or trauma. Dr. Fox has travelled to China and Vietnam with Face to Face to provide care for patients and education for physicians.

He is dual board-certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

  • Great office. Great physician. Dr. Albert Fox is the best.

  • Good evening. Yes. Everything went well today with Dr. Albert Fox. I haven't seen him in like 9 years. And you push my appointment up a good 6 weeks, which is very important to my health. Because my health I haven't been feeling well when my health, you know when my shoulder might by my ringing in my ear, so I was so happy to see him and he did all the good things yesterday for me that very helpful to me. What direction I should take moving forward and get me a new appointments and order me some medication and over the counter medicine team is that would help me and I'm so thankful for that. I am so blessed that I got in and I'm so glad that you took care of me yesterday. I'd like a be more thankful for that. So I'm very pleased.

  • Every staff member I dealt with were extremely professional and helpful....we even had a few laughs that greatly diminished my anxiety about having a procedure done. Dr. Fox spent a good deal of time ( which was not the case in the previous two offices I visited) and explained the procedures throughly in addition to why each one would be necessary based on my Mohs surgery. I feel confident with him as my surgeon. The secretaries/administrative assistants were all very helpful in scheduling all my appointments including coordinating with my other surgeon. One even drew me diagrams of the hospital areas I would need to visit for my pre op & COVID-19 test. I would highly recommend this group of professionals.

  • I understand its hard when you have television but I did have to wait 45min to see the Dr. He did apoligize, but that was a little long none the same. He did help me but it seems my exam was pretty fast. All in all tho he was nice.

  • I was so pleasantly surprised. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The experience exceeded my expectations.

  • Everyone from checking-in, the technician who took updates about current meds, etc and of course Dr. Fox who is so thorough and caring. Check-out was a breeze also.

  • My only complaint is that it took 6 to 7 weeks in order to get an appointment, but other than that the staff was wonderful, Dr. Fox was wonderful, they explained everything to me. It was a very positive experience.

  • The lady at check-in was not friendly or welcoming at all. She was borderline snarky and made me wonder why I waited so long for this provider. A few others in the were not very friendly or warm either. The office did seem to be thorough with Covid questions and procedures, including hand sanitizer. I also like that Dr. Fox had a medical assistant with him during the visit so he could focus on his patient and not on keyboarding. Unfortunately, the general feel of the office was not very welcoming or friendly though.

  • I have been going to ear Doctors since age 9 and results of two operation. This is my first visit with Dr Fox, The lady that took my info listened and was very patient. Dr Fox listened about the history of my ear operation at the age of 9. Since this will be an on going activity he set me up with my next appointment. I am very pleased.

  • Yes, good afternoon. I'm a patient with anxiety and depression Dr. Albert Fox was able to listen to me very carefully and explain by detail and he was able to keep my anxiety down. None of the doctors take the time to listen the patient I was very happy how he explained to me what's going on with me and how he guide me on the directions what I need to do, very pleased how he explain the things I need to get done. Although I wasn't happy to hear But what I need is going on with me, but I'm taking care myself. Thank you for allowing me to be a patient for Dr. Albert Fox. But yeah, he's a very good person. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
