Southcoast Health Engages Lifepoint Rehabilitation to Manage Inpatient Rehabilitation Program

Southcoast Health has engaged Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, to manage its acute inpatient rehabilitation services. Under the agreement, Lifepoint Rehabilitation will manage and operate Southcoast Health’s acute inpatient rehabilitation 32-bed unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital beginning on November 1, 2023.

Lifepoint Rehabilitation will provide Southcoast Health’s acute inpatient rehabilitation with management programs and best practices in quality rehabilitation services. It is a leading provider of rehabilitation program management services that serve to enhance productivity and program performance and provide staff training in more than 100+ hospital-based facility settings across the nation. It consistently outperforms national industry averages on quality measures.
