Dr. Zuzarte is a board-certified internist. He graduated from the University of Bombay in India, and then completed a residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (Tufts University) in Boston.

He is also a Federal Aviation Administration certified Senior Aviation Medical Examiner.

  • Always a pleasant experience with Dr. ZUZARTE

  • The doctor and staff listen to me. The doctor and staff are very busy, sometimes I would like to spend more time talking to them.

  • The staff have always been very amazing, very pleasant. My dad enjoys going to his visits. They're not something he dreads, which are some ways that we do go. They know who he is. It's always pleasurable. They're very kind, considerate, and the wait to get in is quite short, which is very pleasant because he can get frustrated where he's 86, almost 87. I really have never had a bad experience going to visit. I greatly appreciate your time and your patience. Have a great weekend.

  • Everything from start to finish from the time I was walking into the office from the time I left everything was explained clearly and was treated with respect and in a timely fashion I would say that everything went smoothly start to finish like I said and I was happy with the experience I appreciate what they do for me.

  • The doctor, when he comes into the room to, to see you. He doesn't look at you. He just says, hello. Then he goes on the computer and I even tried to have a conversation with him, and he was so involved in the computer that he didn't even realize that I was talking to him sometimes. So I was very disappointed with that and this has happened for the last several visit that I had with him.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
