About Lotte Sherman

Lotte Sherman, PA-C earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. She then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS University in Worcester, MA.

Lotte’s clinical interest is in family medicine and women’s health. She chose primary care in order to establish relationships with patients and provide care throughout the different stages of their lives. Her personal philosophy of care is to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment when caring for her patients and their families. She enjoys being able to positively impact peoples’ lives and play an essential role in improving their health, and the overall health of the communities they live in.

When not at work, Lotte enjoys outdoor activities and traveling. In addition, Lotte won numerous awards as a Division I rower while studying for her undergraduate degree.

    Lotte is awesome. Everyone in the office is so nice to me. Lotte has a lot of knowledge. She took my situation seriously, giving me many options and explained how over-the-counter medicine and ice packs can help me get through this seriously painful next few weeks/months. She also told me what I can do and what I should not do. Lotte made sure I completely understood the seriousness of my situation. 12 hours after my appointment and I feel so much better. It also feels good to have someone like Lotte on my side...Lotte is awesome.

    Lotte Sherman listened to everything I had to say about my blood pressure and my blood pressure machine, and the way I could check every so often to make sure everything's alright and she made me feel very comfortable and told me how they would adjust the blood pressure medicine if needed but it was not needed. So it was a great visit.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
