About Jason Salter DO
Dr. Salter earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, after which he completed an internship and residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He serves as an assistant professor of community and family medicine at the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University.
Dr. Salter’s clinical interests include preventive medicine and nutrition, as well as health education.
He is board certified in family medicine.

Dr. Salter is always very attentive and always gives you his undivided attention when he is seeing you. He also makes sure that you are okay mentally, not just physically. I'm lucky to have him as a primary care physician and I refer South Coast Health to everybody and I'm hoping that you expand your services in the Taunton community.
I have been a patient of Dr. Salter's practice for about thirteen years. I look forward to the wholesome care provided by Dr. Salter and the office staff. I highly recommend this practice!

Front desk needs work..... They need to greet you with kindness not act like your bothering them .... or they bring their personal problems to the job ....
Dr Salter listen to me and everything I had to say. Always had an answer for me when I wasn't sure what to do. Or had an explanation of different procedure.
I am always greeted graciously as I enter the door and go up to the receptionist. It is not long before they take me in and it is not long before I actually see Dr. Salter. Each and every time he sits with me until I am very comfortable with every answer to a question I may ask. No question is a stupid question to him. He's always informative and always correct. Thank you. I don't know, I'm still still, I wasn't, I couldn't hear it.

Dr. Salter is truly the best!! He's been my Doctor for years! He cares deeply about his patients and is always very attentive when I speak. He's made it very easy for me to feel very comfortable to speak in all matters of importance with my health. And he's always placed me in right direction for help when needed. Dr Jason Salter and his staff has literally always been on time every time. For over 10 years. He is able to explain sometimes very complicated health issues very clear, understandable with a kindness and concern only he can deliver. I'm very grateful to have found Dr Salter and his staff many years ago and I hope he will be my primary for many years to come. You would be wise and fortunate to be in his care.

The office staff were all polite and professional. It seemed to be a very well run office environment. I was very impressed with Dr. Salter. He was kind, knowledgeable and demonstrated that he cared about you as a person. He even asked me what I did for fun. My sister was also present and she is a retired RN… she was very impressed and felt I had an excellent primary physician to meet my needs.

I am always greeted at the window with respect and smiles. The offices are always clean as well as the examining rooms. The nurse that takes all my vitals is always pleasant and caring. My Dr, Jason D Salter, well there are no words to describe him! I can't use any words, other than amazing, compassionate, caring, and always open to my questions. I typically use MyChart to communicate with my doctor between appointments and they always get back to me right away. They always answer all my questions. Dr. Salter always listens to me when I'm in the office and have any concerns and I'm just very, very happy with the care I get with Dr. Salter's office.

Dr salter listens and is attuned to patients needs better than any other primary care I've ever had before. He does not talk down or dismiss patient's concerns.
