About Jason Salter DO
Dr. Salter earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, after which he completed an internship and residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He serves as an assistant professor of community and family medicine at the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University.
Dr. Salter’s clinical interests include preventive medicine and nutrition, as well as health education.
He is board certified in family medicine.

Fantastic staff and doctor. Am totally satisfied with the care and treatments that I receive at this office. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a really good office.
My 4-year-old son and I had appointments with Dr. Salter on the same afternoon. The staff was nice enough to keep him entertained during my appointment while I had my annual physical. Dr. Salter and the staff there always make it a very enjoyable visit.

I am always greeted at the window with respect and smiles. The offices are always clean as well as the examining rooms. The nurse that takes all my vitals is always pleasant and caring. My Dr, Jason D Salter, well there are no words to describe him! I can't use any words, other than amazing, compassionate, caring, and always open to my questions. Never, ever is a question stupid to him. I just can't say enough about him! My husband and I feel truly safe with our health in the hands of Dr. Jason D Salter. He has always kind and understanding to our needs. I can honestly say each and every time I walk out of the office I feel like I am on the right track to a better me.

The crew listens and is respectful and understanding
Dr. Salter is always knowledgeable of any lab work and visits to any specialists or ER visits. He is always prepared and thorough. He also explains everything clearly. When I have seen other doctors or practitioners they also have been prepared .

I typically use MyChart to communicate with my doctor between appointments and they always get back to me right away. They always answer all my questions. Dr. Salter always listens to me when I'm in the office and have any concerns and I'm just very, very happy with the care I get with Dr. Salter's office.

Dr salter listens and is attuned to patients needs better than any other primary care I've ever had before. He does not talk down or dismiss patient's concerns. Office visit feels like a collaborative effort towards my good health rather than being told what's best for me. I respect his expertise and felt respected by him as an individual.

I do not think that the time allowed for short visits is enough. Just a simple yes or no response to questions is not enough time… especially for the elderly like myself who wants and has a "NEEDS to know" what is going on and lives alone.
