Say hello to the first babies of the New Year born at Southcoast Health in 2022.

Southcoast Health is delighted to announce the first babies of the New Year born at St. Luke’s Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital in 2022.

Parents Valerie and Tyler Wolstenholme of Swansea, Massachusetts, welcomed son Hendrix at 12:46 am on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Hendrix was born weighing seven pounds and seven and a half ounces and measuring 18 and a half inches long. Hendrix is the couple’s first child.

“St. Luke’s Hospital Labor and Delivery, Maternity and Southcoast Health Obstetrics & Gynecology is bottom line, exceptional. They could not have been more receptive and willing to accommodate our every wish,” said the Wolstenholmes. “Feeling safe, listened to, and supported is so essential while enduring these challenging, but beautiful first few days of parenthood. Southcoast Health was there every step of the way cheering us on. Now as we reminisce, sitting at home and staring at our son with misty eyes, we relive the most incredibly life altering days with such thankfulness and fullness in our hearts.”

Parents Jennifer and Daniel Cote also of Swansea, Massachusetts, welcomed son Oliver at 5:04 am on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
