Everyone was very courteous and friendly, made it a very comfortable experience.

I was met at the office by some lovely ladies that checked me in, had some paperwork to do very quickly. Then I was seen within 15 minutes by a tech who came and asked me about my medications, took my weight and my blood pressure, which both were fine and within limits. And then right as she was leaving, they crossed paths at the door and Patricia Grindell, who takes care of me, came right in and we got to talking and checked over all my medications and it looks like everything's going in the right direction. I had some questions about my overall health that she answered very patiently, talked about the next visit and some blood work possibly halfway through the year. I was very happy with the visit. I had some questions that I wanted to ask about my general health and she answered them for me.

Hello, Patricia Grindell was extremely helpful. We were talking about a specific medication and she looked it up and she said it's not covered by your insurance, but I can prescribe something different. It is covered. And I thought that was extremely nice of her to take the time to do that for me because it makes a big difference. So she's excellent, very personable, and I like her a lot. I've been seeing her for several years. Thank you.

Patricia and her staff are very attentive even when I don't have an appointment and I reach out via MyChart and in this day and age it's very much appreciated and not usually the norm in every office but they are amazing and get back to you very quickly.

Patricia always takes her time & listens to what we say. She thoughtfully responds with an answer right away or will call you back when she gets the answer.Her medical assistants are polite & respectful also. The office does the best they can to treat the patient with care.Wonder if the office needs to expand? Every time we make a follow-up appointment after our current appointment..Patricia says 4 months..she has nothing available..always pushed another month.

Very helpful in explaining what artificial sweeteners cause and that they don't turn to sugar which is what I had heard. They cause you to crave sweets and you have to be aware of that.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.
Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.
How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
