About Michael Meuth

Dr. Meuth received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he was chief resident of internal medicine. Dr. Meuth also completed his fellowship in cardiology at Georgetown.

Dr. Meuth is fully trained in cardiac angioplasty, stenting and peripheral vascular interventions — non-surgical procedures used to open blockages. He performs these specialized procedures at Charlton Memorial Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

He is board certified in interventional cardiology.

  • I have a difficult time assessing a doctor I have met for the first time. As I develop a relationship with him and learn more about plans for my health care, I will be in a better position to comment.

  • Dr Meuth was extremely nice and professional. I really do not think I have seen a physician this nice. He has such a nice way about him and took the time was not rushing or stressed out like most doctors lately which is so sad. I am thankful for my experience which was over a 10 for sure. I actually texted my mother on the way out to say I found a cardiologist if I need one! I always worry as it was a first time visit. Thank you again.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
