A graduate of Dow Medical College in Pakistan, Dr. Jakhro completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Brown University School Ð Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.

Dr. Jakhro has served as an instructor in medicine at a number of colleges including the New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants, New York Medical College in Brooklyn, N.Y., and at Brown University in Providence, R.I.

  • Don't change anything

  • This doctor did a great job, explaining my lab result that he had to me and was very thorough and making sure I understood what you was telling me. It would have been nice to understand though what my next steps were because I don't really know what to do next.

  • I was not kept waiting. The doctor was familiar with my health issues. I was asked what help I needed. All staff treated me with respect.

  • My regular dr was not available so another provider saw me via telehealth. He was very courteous and helpful. The weekend on call person was a nightmare, rude and totally inappropriate.

  • I appreciated the fact that I could do a teleconference rather than an office visit. If it were something that could not be done by teleconference, I would have made an in-office visit. Being aware when each of these is appropriate is both mine and my provider's to discern. It was a good call.

  • Doctor Jakhro takes time to explain treatments, causes, medications and questions. Never feel rushed, allows as much time as you need to understand answers to your questions

  • Caring, empathic doctor who listens to what you have to say. Explains things carefully. Highly recommend him to family and friends.

  • First telehealth visit. It was ok, but doesn't replace in person visit. I took my pulse, I don't take blood pressure meds, but I like doctor to listen to my heart and to visually assess me. Doctor put order in for labs and that worked well.

  • During my visit I felt that the Doctor was interested and attentive to me.

  • Really appreciate Dr Jakhros thoroughness and concern. He personally called to express his concern about my lab levels and while I'm in the exam room, very attentive by giving appropriate eye contact instead of looking at the computer while I am speaking or while he is answering a question.

  • Waited in exam room almost about 45 min, but Dr. Jahkro (?) explained why and I was ok with that. It was a good reason.

The office is efficient.

  • Being discharged took along time. Finally got papers from a nurse. She just handed them to me. Then, walked away. She didn't even review them with me. I was disappointed.

  • Dr. Jakhro is amazing. The entire team at Rosebrook is first class and always a pleasure. However. The incessant haranguing by SouthCoast to fill out these patient satisfaction surveys via multiple emails, texts, and phone calls are a bit much, and quite honesty - quite off-putting.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
