A graduate of Dow Medical College in Pakistan, Dr. Jakhro completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Brown University School Ð Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.

Dr. Jakhro has served as an instructor in medicine at a number of colleges including the New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants, New York Medical College in Brooklyn, N.Y., and at Brown University in Providence, R.I.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and will see patients 16 years of age and over.

The office is efficient.


  • I like that my doctor listens to my concerns and acts on them with prescriptions and referrals.

  • Being discharged took along time. Finally got papers from a nurse. She just handed them to me. Then, walked away. She didn't even review them with me. I was disappointed.

  • Dr. Jakhro is amazing. The entire team at Rosebrook is first class and always a pleasure. However. The incessant haranguing by SouthCoast to fill out these patient satisfaction surveys via multiple emails, texts, and phone calls are a bit much, and quite honesty - quite off-putting.

When I addressed that wasn't my reason for the call and restated why I scheduled an appointment, they kept talking over me and re reading the same script. was then rushed off the phone after getting Solutions to 3 different problems that weren't mine.

  • My provider is usually very attentive to my needs and listens to me but on this visit I only had his attention half the time as he seemed to be preoccupied w something else

  • I like my Dr, he does well. I love the MyChart services. I "checked in" online prior to coming in, but the front desk people didn't seem to know that. They started asking me all the questions I had already answered online. Don't they know that I already checked in online? And then they found some other form I needed to fill out. Why wasn't I given an opportunity online to confirm my health contacts? Check out was very helpful as she told me I could make an appointment using MyChart to get my blood drawn for the tests.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
