About Mark Perry

Dr. Perry completed his medical degree at Albany Medical College and his general surgery residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a Fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Previously, he completed an MBA in Health Care Administration at Union Graduate College and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Sociology at Union College.

Dr. Perry is a member of the American College of Surgery and the Society of Vascular Surgery.
His clinical interests include Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, fenestrated EVAR, carotid artery stenting and incorporating technology into medical practice.

  • I thought, Dr. Perry was attentive and actually listened well to what I was saying, and because I felt that he was listening, I actually ended up saying less than I would normally have to say. So, I thought that was important and he answered the questions. He obviously listened to them, because he did answer them appropriately and they were easy to understand and he had a good manner. I am very happy that I did keep the appointment. Everyone in your office was friendly and kind. The person that did my tests was nice and explained everything she did. Dr. Perry was extremely accommodating and saw me right after the testing was complete, even though my appt. with him was not scheduled for that day! He explained everything to me in a way that I understood. I left there with understanding my condition better than I ever had. Thank you !!!

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
