About Mark Perry

Dr. Perry completed his medical degree at Albany Medical College and his general surgery residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a Fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Previously, he completed an MBA in Health Care Administration at Union Graduate College and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Sociology at Union College.
Dr. Perry is a member of the American College of Surgery and the Society of Vascular Surgery.
His clinical interests include Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, fenestrated EVAR, carotid artery stenting and incorporating technology into medical practice.

  • Everything went well

  • Doctor Perry and staff were very professional and knowledgeable.

  • It only took about a month to get an appointment, which is fine but now that I've been seen I need an ultrasound and that's five months away! Something is pretty awry with your system if it takes that long. Check in was professional, Dr Perry was professional, the check out receptionist was not. She decided to take a personal call in the middle of checking out

  • This was my first visit, I arrived early and was taken in to see the doctor in a timely manner, I was asked a few questions about my symptoms and was scheduled an appointment to have a CT scan for the following week, my telecom appt is scheduled the day following the CT scan to discuss how we will proceed. So far it has been a good experience. Keep up the good work.

  • The only problem I had with this appointment, is that my Doctor asked me to go to the check out, whereby an appointment for tests would be set up for me. The receptionist was on the phone for a few minutes. When she got off the phone she told me that she couldn't set up a test appointment there and there, but would call me when an appointment is made. That was back on 07/12/2021, it is now 07/19/2021, and I am still waiting for the phone call!!

  • The Ultrasound tech, took time to do accurate tests. He was training a student, so he was explaining everything to her, so I got the benefit of the added detail.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
