About Mark Desnoyers MD
Dr. Desnoyers came to the Southcoast region in 1989 to establish the first community hospital catheterization laboratory (“cath lab”) in Massachusetts. He has served as the director of St. Luke’s cath lab since its opening in 1991.
Dr. Desnoyers graduated as Valedictorian of his class from Dartmouth College before heading to Harvard Medical School to earn his medical degree. He completed an internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiology at New England Medical Center Hospital in Boston, where he also performed his cardiology fellowship and ultimately became a faculty member and associate director of the adult cardiac cath lab.
Dr. Desnoyers is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty board certification in cardiovascular disease.

Dr Desnoyers is excellent and having to get a different PCP after 15 years because he is my cardiologist is the one thing I still think was wrong. Southcoast could have instituted a " going forward policy" and allowed current patients to keep their PCPs. Aside from this major blunder, his office and staff are top notch!

Look, the doctor has known him for 22 years. He's an excellent doctor, the place is impeccable, the people are 100% impeccable, and everything is in its proper place. You ask a question, he answers, and currently, all the employees are very good and attentive. I like him very much, and that's why I've been with him for 22 years.
If it's not broke - don't fix it - Every appt with Dr Desnoyer is everything a doctor visit should be and I'm so lucky to have him as my cardiologist

Dr. Desnoyers has always been a great doctor to me. I've been going to him since I was in my middle 40s and I'm 75 now and he's always on point and he tells me everything I need to know. He sits and answers my questions, which a lot of doctors don't. So because of that, I rate him a 10.
