Dr. Zuzarte is a board-certified internist. He graduated from the University of Bombay in India, and then completed a residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (Tufts University) in Boston.

He is also a Federal Aviation Administration certified Senior Aviation Medical Examiner.

  • First time here and was very satisfied. Friendly staff and very professional

  • Less time waiting to see MD.

  • Yes, well when I did especially with the covid-19 covid-19, very precocious, very clean. Reception was outstanding, the assistant was outstanding and also Dr. Zuzarte. He listened, he made suggestions and went review everything what I should be taking and what I should not be taken. So it's very well formed, spent quite a bit of time with me. So I really appreciate that and he listen to me. Most important thing he listened to me.

  • It was a really good experience. I enjoy the way we're doing it right now. I find it even better. I have a real bad lung condition and it's hard for me to get there and talking to him on the phone as far as what we do, it's been fantastic for me, and I hope we can continue the same service.   • This was my first time with this provider and at this office. The women checking me in and the nurse that took my BP/vitals both seemed too complete the "checklist" though lacked personality and bedside manor. Dr.Zuzarte was very nice and informative.

  • You did very well with the punctuality, lousy on the environment. The t.v is awful (INAUDIBLE) in the room, lack of privacy when you come in, poor signage. Overall it didn't feel like a health it felt more like amusement park with all this noise

  • The doctor told me that someone was going to call me about an appointment for lab work and urine sample and no one called. I called there and someone said that I will be hearing from them and it has been 3 days. Not sure if this is normal

  • The way that Covid is now it feel safer to have a teleconference with him. I have a list of things. I need to go through. He listens he understands and usually heads up about it. So it's very good.

  • The office support staff was thorough and responsive. The doctor listened very well, was informative, and was proactive. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

  • They did nothing well. I had to wait 15 minutes for a first appointment (8:00 a.m.), then I waited in the exam room for over 30 minutes after the nurse was done. If I hadn't opened the door and asked the nurse where the doctor was, who knows how long I would have been waiting.

  • Dr Zuzarte took the time to read past notes, asked if I had health concerns, walked thru each concern the sent me for follow up testing...he was very thorough... That is what I need in a PCP doctor. He goes to the next steps.. It was hard with telehealth 1st time there it was hard to hear and focus... But he seemed genuine & to care about my health & treatment plan.

  • I did not have to wait for my scheduled appointment and was seen almost immediately. I felt that the office was clean and staff were practicing proper safety protocols regarding the pandemic

  • The doctor is really rude and really didn't seem to care . He was also very rude to the nurse . I'll be making a change back to my old doctor and will not be returning to the doctor I had. I don't like that doctor at all

  • Phone line was sometimes not clear Dr prescribed antibiotics and scheduled Bloodwork in a week .

  • Dr. Zuzarte seems like a very genetic, generic, guy and after mentioning that I have had some chest pains, I kind of seemed disinterested and did not mention anything, maybe what the cause of that could be from or what we could do about it. Seems like he just kind of goes out throughout his day, to get through it and doesn't actually provide the utmost care that he could, for his patients.

  • Very complete and friendly appointment I did not feel rushed at all. I was asked several times during the appointment if I had any questions or concerns.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
