About Jessica Fisher NP
Jessica Fisher received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rhode Island College of Nursing in Kingston, Rhode Island.
Her inspiration to focus on family medicine and primary care derives from her history in inpatient nursing where she often cared for patients with end-stage chronic diseases.
Jessica believes in customizing treatments to meet each patient’s unique goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. She prioritizes addressing the underlying causes of illnesses to provide effective care and wants to work more independently to make a difference by focusing on the patient’s health.
Jessica believes it is important to form partnerships with her patients when it comes to their care. Her patients must first understand the benefits that come from taking better care of themselves, and that her role is to provide education, resources, and motivation to help them achieve their health goals.
To her, being at Southcoast Health is being a part of an organization that truly values its employees and healthcare providers. The empowerment and respect presented allows those at Southcoast to focus on providing the highest quality care and achieving results for patients.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Everyone is the office was courteous and knowledgeable. My appointment was on time and I received excellent care from NP Fisher, who was very thorough in discussing my health, making follow up referrals and ordering labs.
I just really appreciate Jessica's support and encouragement and wanting to stay in touch every three months to get me through the changing landscape of being on weight loss medication right now and I'm getting to the end where I'm getting close to reaching my goals and she's providing lots of valuable guidance, feedback to help me sustain this. This provider, Ms. Fisher, NP, listened to my concerns and the specific reasons why I do not want to take statins. Based on our conversation re: the effects of my GLP, she adjusted the dose. I was very satisfied with my visit.

The facility was able to get me in for an appointment within 24 hours. Jessica was very knowledgeable, listened to all of my concerns, and really validated just some of my questions and referred me for further testing, which I was grateful for.

I had a great experience this morning at my appointment in part because there was extra time allotted because the appointment following mine did not show up. So I appreciated the longer time to talk to my health care provider about all of my concerns and ensure that I got referrals for all the specialists that she and I discussed. Thank you.

I had my yearly check-up with Jessica Fisher. It was the first time I had met her. I think she did a wonderful job. She asked me questions. She looked at my record. We talked about things that concerned me. We discussed the referrals and then she made them. It was a fine visit. I have no complaints or problems at all.

Left message on portal early Tuesday 10/21/25 and Nurse [Name] called within an hour and fit me in today Wednesday 10/22/25 to see PA Jessica Fisher. PA Fisher was excellent! She listened, asked many questions and quickly diagnosed me as having vertigo. Gave me instructions for exercises and a prescription for medication.
