About Gregory Russell MD
Dr. Russell came to the South Coast region in 1998, the year he completed his cardiology fellowship at Tufts University. He also completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Tufts after graduating from the University of Vermont Medical School.
He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac rhythm device therapy and specializes in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology.

Dr. Russell is great. The office is great. I thank them.
My appointments are always on time, always done in a timely fashion. Everybody in the office is super polite, super caring, and make me feel right at home every visit. Dr. Gregory is well informed, he checks on my past history, present history, we go over drugs I'm taking, interactions and how to improve health. I think he does a fantastic job.
The only comment I have is to express my sadness about his upcoming retirement. He has always been the best!
The entire staff, from reception through Medical care and followup, provided exemplary care.Dr. Russell was very thorough in obtaining background medical history and explaining necessary followup testing in a timely manner.I was very impressed with him and his staff.

Receptionist checking in and out was courteous, patient and helpful with my schedule. [Name] prepared me for my appointment, EKG and blood pressure very considerate of my age and anxiety. It was a wonderful visit. Dr Russell was friendly yet professional. He asked caring questions and listened to my comments. I was very pleased. The nurse doing my BP and EKG was very nice . She treated me with respect and was very professional. The check in staff are always friendly and efficient. They always make me feel welcomed.
Nothing any better than the service I received both from Dr Russell and his staff
I love my Dr. Gregory Russell. He's always up to date with everything and he always asks me how I'm doing and if I'm exercising or whatever I'm supposed to be doing. And I have had him for quite a few years and I thank God for him. I also thank God for the staff because they're always pleasant and always on time and I never have to wait long for my appointment either. So I just thank God for the whole building of my cardiologist. They're all great and again, I thank God for Dr. Russell. He's been my doctor for a long time and I pray that God will continue to take care of him so he can take care of me. So I'm overall very thankful for all of them. So thank you so much. Knowing how anxious I was about the appointment, the provider was able to move my appointment up, putting me on a cancellation list and moving my appointment up twice as applicable. And when I was seen by him, he took the time to explain things and to basically get to know me a little bit more, considering it was an introductory visit.
Dr. Russell is an exceptional cardiologist. He's always listening and cares about everything that's going on. He's wonderful. I would never want to go see anyone else and his staff is wonderful as well. They're always helpful and caring.

Dr. Russell listened carefully to my symptoms and disussed options with great clarity. I am relieved to have several follow-up steps to be takent and so pleased that he is my physician. Also, his staff were extremely helpful in reading he information I shared via a message in MyChart and also in ensuring that I got an appointment on a timely basis given the seriousness of my symptoms. Dr Russell was excellent and informed me about everything where my previous cardiologists did not but they weren't from Southcoast
