  • The service provide handled a wide range of my medical issues that have an impact on my interaction with them. Questions were aimed at making sure I was being taken care of by my other medical providers as well as covering all my issues requiring attention and understanding. Recommendations were made to insure I was following my medical plans and taking all my medications and taking care of my diet , sleep, and other lifestyle issues.The provider Erin was caring and supportive and discussed and explained all the issues noted above. It was comforting to have a continued oversight and care related to my many medical conditions .

  • I've been a patient with this provider for quite some time so I do have a good degree of trust with them. She knew everything that we were going to discuss, she knew exactly what tests I've been through and what my current goals are. She's very well informed and explains questions I had very well. I was very pleased with the appointment. My only difficulty I had was that the appointment was, I was called more than an hour past the appointment time, I was warned however, before hand, that they were having some scheduling problems due to patients that were in front of me had appointments ahead of me.

  • The appointment was late. I am retired and have plenty of time. If the provider is going to be late it would be helpful to notify the patient.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
