About Erin Edwards

Erin Edwards earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Fitchburg State University. Erin furthered her knowledge and expertise by earning a Master of Science degree in Adult Health Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. 

Medicine has always been an important part of Erin’s life. As a child, Erin went through open heart surgery. The experience fostered her love of healthcare and has helped her to excel in the field of nursing. Erin believes that because she has been in their shoes, she is better able to connect with and care for her patients. She has always found enjoyment in being apart of her patients lives and being there for them in their time of need.

In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her son and daughter.

  • Everything was okay

  • Wish I was allowed to talk more

  • The NP I met with was pleasant and spoke in a way that I understood. She was well informed about the meds that I currently take. She explained med that I could take which would allow me to stop taking another.

  • Visit felt a little rushed. I wasn't asked about Covid vaccine. Referral to dermatologist hasn't contacted me yet. No after visit summary in my chart.

  • It is always a pleasant encounter both with phone calls and office visits. My questions are always answered quickly and correctly. To get refills it is never a problem. I am from Falmouth but I joined the SouthCoasthealth group for their excellent care they give me. A outstanding health team and I am very happy being in this health group

  • It is really impossible for me to rate Erin Edwards based on my initial meeting which turned into a telehealth phone call. I was very disappointed and uncomfortable and didn't bring up a few questions I would have face to face. I do not have a private place at home to have a private conversation. I hope this will help me in the future to at least have established a doctor.

  • Everything seemed ok. Was asked the appropriate questions and provider seemed to listen. It was quick. Hoping the diagnosis is correct so I can start feeling better.

  • Erin Edwards, Nurse Practitioner, was concerned, sympathetic and went above and beyond to come to a solution to help me feel better. She even called me an hour and a half early bc she was told how sick I was. She is a credit to her profession.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
