- Serious wounds or injuries (uncontrollable bleeding)
- Severe pain (head, neck, or abdominal)
- Severe allergic reactions, or anything else you believe to be an emergency

About Emmet Eby
Board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and passed critical care boards in 2008, Dr. Eby has been a member of the medical staff at Tobey Hospital for more than 20 years.
A graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School, Dr. Eby completed a residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York Hospital in Stony Brook and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine and critical care at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University in Providence, R.I.
He has served as medical director of pulmonary medicine and critical care at Tobey and the bariatric surgery program at Southcoast Hospitals.
He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Surgeons and a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Physicians.
