About David Bae MD
Dr. Bae earned a Master’s Degree in Neurobiology and a Medical Degree from Brown University Medical School.
He completed a residency in Urology at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence where he also completed a research fellowship in Urology and Men’s Health.
Dr. Bae has specialized training in laparoscopic urological surgery including extensive training with the da Vinci robotic system.
He also has particular interest and, advanced training in the use of lasers in prostate surgery, including the latest Green Light XPS laser system for benign prostate enlargement.

Efficient and professional appointment.
The provider was late due to care for earlier patients which I fully understand. Dr Bae spent as much time as I needed and answered all questions as he provided clarification on all test results and potential treatments.
Office carefully ensured that they had a complete and up to date records of my medications and my complete urology background. Discussed all facets of tracking cysts that I've had on my kidneys for many years and why.

The staff at this office treated me with patience, kindness, and in a professional manner. They respected my time, without rushing to get me out the door before my questions were answered.

I just felt he didn't ask me questions which might have given him more information. I left with more questions which I then researched and was wondering why these weren't asked. He was very pleasant and friendly but I didn't get a strong feeling of him understanding my specific concerns.
Dr. Bae is always informative with his answers to my questions and answers me in ways that are easy to understand. South Coast Urology has always been top notch since I've been a patient. My Primary care Doctor who recommended me to Dr. Bae told me that I'd be impressed with the level of care I received, he was 100% correct! There is nothing to improve with this office, everyone, including the front desk, is very caring and informative and always willing to help me!
Improve timing of service, waited over 1/2 hour from the time I entered the exam room for Dr Bae…10-15 min wait is acceptable 38 min is excessive especially with a 10:10 appointment

The only thing I would ask for an improvement on is how long a patient waits in the doctor's room, not the waiting room, but once you get brought into the room. I sat there for a very long time before the doctor came in to see me. Very, very long wait. Be great if we could shorten that up sometime. Thanks.

Office visit went well, Dr. Bae noticed my Primary Care physician hadn't ordered a PSA test for my yearly physical. He ordered one right there and then, and I was able to get it done right away.

David Bae was a great provider, he answered all my questions very professionally and provided all the necessary information needed. He also took the time to talk about past medical issues that may need to be addressed and answered with care. I was very comfortable talking with Dr. Bae 10 out of 10 recommended.
Dr charnecki takes the time to truly evaluate my situation and discuss care options with me. She never makes me feel rushed or that I'm not getting the proper attention. Without a doubt, she is the best primary care provider I have ever had, she is a true asset to South Coast health
