  • no complaints

  • More Support staff needed they appeared to be short on provider support.

  • They have a good service and good attention, I recommend it to my friends, thank you.

  • Great visit, Thank you again.

  • I had great experience, the staff were very nice, Dr. David Bae was awesome.

  • No visible hand sanitizer in room or hallway. Staff did not wear gloves nor did they wash hands upon entering or leaving.

  • Just made everything easy for me and he was not judging me and knows about kidney stone and how much they hurt and didn't treat me like a junky just trying to get some pain medication. He made me feel good to talk about how much pain I'm really in. Took my word for what has worked in the pass for me instead of saying I can't write you that

  • I was very pleased with the doctor and the employees they were very helpful and. Took very good care of me. Thank you.

  • Always late on appointments. Sit there for a longer time then should.

  • Dr. Bae seemed as an excellent urologist, and I plan to continue with him. The only complaint is that he was unaware that the prescription he ordered fo me was not covered by my Medicare insurance. I was not able to afford the total prescription, so I am basically left in the same dilemma as when I went in. Not good.

  • Team works and understanding

  • I sat in a room waiting for over 40 mins for the doctor after the nurse took my initial information. So I'd reduce that amount of time.

  • You did very very well. Thank you.

  • Provider explained in layman's terms Very kind to my dad who has dementia

  • Dr. Provided very detailed information. I appreciated that

  • Dr. David Bae is a great doctor. Good in all aspects of his profession. Highly recommended.

  • The Staff and Doctor Bae were courteous. Still waiting for my prescription to be available. Appointment was Friday morning, still not available as of Monday morning. Not sure where the issue is but more than likely a pharmacy question.

  • All medical professionals are very, very busy with the current pandemic and it's ancillary issues. There was a delay in receiving a call from the physician of over an hour after pre-check from their office, but under the current circumstances, this is acceptable to me. The discussion was brief, to the point, and the physician did apologize for the tardy response to our appointment. Let us all hope that we can get through this pandemic, and maintain survival of our current health systems without total collapse. Southcoast appears to be working hard to achieve this very difficult goal.

  • Dr Bae was very kind and thorough and explained things very well to me. I was nervous and a little embarrassed at first but he made me feel comfortable with his sense of humor and down to earth explanations.

  • Long wait in the exam room for the doctor

  • They always treat me nice

  • Dr. Bae has an excellent bedside manner. Extremely personable and thorough. Took the time to make sure I was informed to make the right decision for my care. Highly recommended. And very nice office staff.

  • dr. bae and his staff are top level doctors, professional, knowlegeable, and did all the evaluations necessary to analyze my situation. most important, they care for my health and for me as a person. if i ever need a urologist i will go to dr. bae. he is great.[Name] [Name]

  • Almost always a long wait in exam room. About an hour for this visit. Need to correct that.

  • Doctor Bae was surprising extremely knowledgeable with my diagnoses knew was was wrong demonstrated the problem of multiple kidney stones and what may have caused them. Illustrated the procedure he felt that would be fastest to conclusion. He laid out a few options my reply to him was what he considered the best approach and we would go with that. His decisions and knowledge is why I was there in the first place. He was pleased with my reply I think. Both my Wife and I was pleased he was thorough never left a question unanswered and made sure we asked all. I consider Doctor Bae one of the best doctor/surgeons met recently.

  • I have dealt with South Coast for many years and have never had a problem.

  • Did not have to wait very long to see doctor. The chairs in seating area were not far apart enough.

  • Everything was fine it was put

  • Always a pleasant visit.the staff always answers any questions I might have, and are really nice if I must cancel an appointment or reschedule.you have great personnel at this medical site. [Name][Name]

  • Dr Bae was attentive and informative He did a good job

  • Dr. Bae was very attentive to my needs. Asked me several questions about the way I been doing. Whether or not the medication is working as well as it has been. And questions like that. I would recommend him highly to anyone. It was very very up to date. I was very satisfied with the visit. Thank you.

  • Keep Dr Bae

  • Waited for one hour and thirty minutes in patients room for doctor.

  • Shorten the wait period

  • The quality of professionalism by the entire staff is very good. They try to accommodate wherever possible. Overall, I'm very pleased with the staff at South Coast Urology.

  • The health provider was very knowledgeable and listened to me of everything I had to say.

  • You follow the COVID-19 protocol to make sure everyone was safe coming into the office

  • From the moment I walked in to the time I left I felt comfortable and cared about.

  • I was most impressed by Dr. Bae the time that he took the thoroughness in which he explain things to me and showed me an easy to understand method his knowledge and his options that he presented to me were terrific, most impressed by him and I'm lucky to have them as my physician.

  • Dr. Bae was over an above accommodating, helpful, kind. He had to schedule me for emergency surgery. He rea ... really went over and above. His office staff was less than desired. They weren't as professional as I would expect. Were not courteous, seemed a little bit annoyed with actually Dr. Bae for him trying to fit me into a surgical schedule. So that was disappointing. He was definitely trying to go out of his way to help me and they were not.

  • My experience was great. Thank you to Dr. Bae and the entire staff.

  • Dr Bae is fantastic. He is helpful and was able to give me the information and follow up care that I needed. I missed my last telehealth appointment as I waited an hour past the time and then had to continue with my own work meetings, so I rescheduled for today. When they called today to "check me in" hours before my appointment, I was told telehealth is done between surgeries and is offered as a courtesy and there are not specific appointment times, however I had a specific appointment time. I was told my appointment would likely be earlier than planned. Scheduling is definitely something that could use improvement. I made today's appointment at a time that it wouldn't matter if the telehealth started late, which was good because it was about 40 mins past the time that my appointment started. I love the telehealth option (I work in mental health and we are primarily doing that now too) because it saves a ton of time driving, especially for something that doesn't require an office visit, and appreciate that it is offered.

  • DrBae listened very carefully when I spoke. The office staff was very polite and caring. The office was clean and neat.

  • He listen to my concerns patiently and answered them in a professional manner

  • Waited for call over one hour.. staff called on time said Dr would call soon.

  • I only have 1 complain I waited 35 minutes in the examining room for the doctor

  • At this time having the telemedicine option for getting care made it easier for me to talk with my doctor.I hope that this will be here in the future .

  • I was very impressed with the covid-19 prevention protocols

  • Dr. Bae is excellent. Explains things very well, asks good to the point questions and provides options.

  • Dr. Was very though with his explanation of my problem

  • dr bae was very attentive and listened and answered questions in language i could understand he is the best

  • Very pleasant and helpful staff. Over all a very good visit.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
