About Tina Charest, MD
Dr. Charest earned her medical degree from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, where she also served as a clinical research assistant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a research assistant in the Women’s Health in Emergency Care Program. She completed her residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket, R.I.
Dr. Charest has engaged in a number of volunteer efforts, including serving since 2007 as an interviewer at Brown University, interviewing students who applied to attend Brown University’s undergraduate program.
She has discussed women’s health on local radio, and also served as a patient advocate for an expectant mother during medical school. Dr. Charest enjoys swimming, fishing, and water skiing as well as cooking and reading.

Staff was very friendly. I had a very positive experience overall. I usually get appointments early in the morning so I don't have to wait long after my appointment time. I did have to wait until 0910 before I was called but that was acceptable as well as my time waiting in the exam room. I can tell that the efficiency of the process has improved over time.

Office staff are fine. MD seems to review past medical history without reviewing about anything new. Doctor asked me what I want to go over- just doesn't seem like a thorough annual physical.
