About Thaylon (Ty) Barreto, MD
Dr. Thaylon (Ty) Barreto earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, Massachusetts. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
He has proudly served in the United States Army and is bilingual in both English and Portuguese.
His inspiration to become a primary care doctor is rooted in the desire to build meaningful and long lasting relationships with patients. As a primary doctor, he feels he has the privilege to get to know patients as a whole person.
As a primary care doctor he believes in fostering a collaborative partnership with his patients where necessary guidance and information is provided to help a patient make the best informed decisions about their health.
When not at work, Thaylon devotes his time to his lovely wife and their three children. He enjoys going to the beach, cycling, tackling home improvement projects, and board games.

I have been going to this offices with previous doctor and always had the best expirience with everyone, just great people, I continue going with Dr. Barreto he is so gracious. So attentive really great doctor, I love this offices also because we not waiting endlessly to be seen, most all the time appointments are on time very rare I wait more than 10 to 15 minutes.

Dr. Barreto is very warm and he makes you feel very comfortable. He's very professional and has a lot of information at the tip of his tongue and he is interested in your life and what's going on with you and he also is aware of members of your family. He's very encouraging for us, my husband and I, to do the right thing and he lets us know things he feels will not help us health-wise and recommends the changes that we should make. He's a very good provider. Both my husband and I are very comfortable with him and we feel that he cares very much about our health and our well-being. I can't think of anything that would make him better than he already is.
Takes time to go over all health issues and explains everything so you can understand. Over all very pleasant. I definitely recommend Dr Barreto.
