About Patrick Gagnon, MD
Dr. Gagnon is the Chief of Radiation Oncology at the Southcoast Health Cancer Center.
A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Gagnon completed a residency in radiation oncology at the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Ore. He has specialized expertise and interest in stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiation therapy and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT).
Dr. Gagnon has performed research in adaptive radiation therapy and imaging and has presented at numerous national and international meetings. He is a recipient of a competitive research grant, the ASCO Young Investigator Award, for his novel research on head and neck cancer.
Dr. Gagnon is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO).
Dr. Gagnon is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.

Staff was great. Everyone is extremely welcoming/friendly. They are fantastic.Appointments often ran late. Needs improvement.
You did very well. The entire staff did an excellent job! They are very good at what they do, they kept me upbeat, positive and relaxed during the treatments. They all have a special place in my heart, and as far as I'm concerned they all have saved life! And there is no doubt in my mind that the outcome of the treatment that they provided will be positive. They really do make a difference.
