About Megan Manny, NP
Megan received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as her Master of Science Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.
She truly believes in patient-centered care, which means that as a provider she puts herself in her patients’ shoes to better understand their concerns, situation, fears, and current understanding of the matter at hand.
She feels that sitting with her patients and allowing them to explain what is happening in their own words is something she enjoys doing and believes it not only helps improve the communication between patient and physician, but allows her to tailor explanations to a patient’s concerns in a way that they fully understand; with better understanding comes the empowerment to make informed decisions.
She believes that this small gesture goes a long way in building trust with her patients.
Megan’s own pediatric practitioner, who cared for her and her siblings for over 15 years, was the inspiration behind her deciding to become a Nurse Practitioner herself. The ability to form long relationships with patients and families is what made her decide to go into primary care.
To her, Southcoast Health means being able to directly and positively impact the community she lives in.
When not at work, Megan enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their dog.

Mammogram at Hanover St in Fall River much better than when I've gone to mammogram in Providence or Boston!

Every time I'm seen in the office, whether it be by my PCP (u00A0[Name] [Name]) or one of his NP's, I'm always treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. But, thankfully, they're also down to earth. I thank you, for all you do to help me... I can't begin to express how truly grateful I am for that!

Megan Many NP was well aware of my medical issues. She took the time to go over my blood tests. She also answered all my questions and concerns.
My telehealth visit with Megan was scheduled after calling the office to report an issue with my father who has severe dementia. My concern was promptly discussed, addressed, visit scheduled by [Name] + calls/referrals initiated for outpatient wound care by visiting nurse association. Megan was attentive, professional, addressed all my concerns and questions and plan of care. The care received was excellent quality + highly accommodating.
This provider listened to my health issues and explained her goals for my health.

I came to office for a blood test but was concerned my blood pressure might be too high. One of the ladies taking blood went out and got me a visit with a doctor to check. My BP turned out to be ok but Megan gave me meds for my sinus issues. I was very relieved and the meds seem to be working well so I'm happy with that as well!All in all a very good experience!
