About Kathleen Pringle, CNM
Kathleen Pringle earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and obtained a certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Pringle joins Southcoast Health with three decades of midwifery experience in southeastern New England and has also served as an assistant clinical professor in the Nurse Midwife Graduate Education Program at the University of Rhode Island. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
As a Nurse Midwife, Kathleen supports and cares for women and their families throughout every stage of pregnancy. She has a vested interest in teaching patients how to live safe and healthy lives, allowing them to deliver healthy babies with as little intervention as possible.
In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

This was my first time going to this office. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. I was seen in a timely manner. The two women that I spoke to in the exam room listened to everything I had to say, answered all my questions and gave me options of treatments and reassured me I could call the office anytime with any questions or concerns.
This is my first pregnancy and I have seen a bunch of different providers throughout. Today was my first time having a visit with Kathleen Pringle and she is by far my favorite in the New Bedford office!
I'm so happy I have found this OBGYN office. Everyone has been very nice and supportive. I would not change anything.
Kathy Pringle was WAY MORE THAN MEDICINE. She was thorough , informative and empathetic. She helped ease my anxiety during this visit with her compassionate care . She made me feel confident in my treatment plan and the direction we would like to see in the future . 10/10 shes a rock star ?
Attended quickly upon arrival and departure. Staff remembered me from past appointments when I was pregnant, they asked about my newborn, which made me feel comfortable. It also made me feel seen as a patient and not just a number, very important in this type of setting. Provider was informative and helpful, great bedside manner. Will return and recommend office.
Dr. Pringle was easy to talk to and informative. I appreciate her doing whatever she could to make sure I got the most benefit out of my visit.
Kathy is a wonderful provider. She listens to your concerns and takes you seriously. She is always on your side and I always feel very comfortable with her.
