About Jessica Inwood, MD
Dr. Inwood is in practice at Southcoast Health Weight Management Center in Fall River and Wareham, where she specializes in Obesity Medicine. She is on the medical staff of Hospital Memorial de Charlton. A 2004 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Dr. Inwood completed her residency at the Self Regional Healthcare/Montgomery Center for Family Medicine in Greenwood, S.C in 2007. Her special interests include non-surgical weight management, including prescription medications, personalized nutrition and exercise plans, behavior modification, and reversal and prevention of weight-related diseases. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Massachusetts Medical Society. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Took time to really listen
Dr. Jessica Inwood is our favorite doctor as she is not only very competent and professional, BUT always interested in our health, concerns and listens very well to any of our input. She is a very competent professional, caring and communicates in an excellent manner. She is the BEST!!

Dr. Inwood, is a very knowledgeable, & caring physician! Dr. Inwood's medical evaluations are very thorough. She asks great questions, gives sound explanations & really makes you feel at ease. I've learned a tremendous amount about my overall health since I became her patient. I've lost 68 lbs. while under her care.I feel like a new person! I truly feel we are in this "together" & she's on my team - cheering me on! I highly recommend Dr. Inwood & her professional & caring staff!

The doctor was great listening to my history and making me feel comfortable. It was clear she wanted to help me achieve my goals while I've had other providers not actually listen to my concerns or be willing to find/propose multiple solutions.
The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful, checked me in, was very accommodating, and I needed to use the restroom. She provided me directions to the restroom. She was wonderful. Dr. Jessica Inwood is by far one of the ultimate best providers in the Southcoast Health Organization. She always goes above and beyond. She is knowledgeable, personable and friendly. She is well informed of her patients medical history. Appointments with Dr. Inwood feel like a visit with family! I feel truly blessed to be her patient! Her team from the front desk to medical assistants are also amazing! They all go above and beyond and are Southcoast definition of "more than medicine".
Office seems very booked up and it is difficult to book follow up appointments in a timely manner.
Everyone was pleasant the day of my appointment however when trying to make the appointment clerical staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I went to my chart and made my own appointment and booked a sooner appointment

She also takes the time to prepare for our visits, onsite or remote and communicates well thru occasional emails. When new prescriptions are required, she is aware and is proactive with our pharmacy.
