Jennifer Schwartz, MD, obteve o seu Bacharelato em Ciências em Neurobiologia na Universidade de Michigan. Obteve o seu Doutoramento em Medicina na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Nova Iorque, em Nova Iorque, NY.
A Dra. Schwartz completou a sua residência em Medicina Interna no Centro Médico da Universidade de Nova Iorque e uma bolsa de estudos em Eletrofisiologia clínica e uma bolsa de estudos em Cardiologia clínica no Hospital Presbiteriano de Nova Iorque - Centro Médico Weill Cornell em Nova Iorque, NY.
É certificada em medicina da obesidade, cardiologia e medicina interna, e dedica-se a prestar cuidados baseados em provas e compassivos, centrados em soluções sustentáveis e reais.
Enquanto praticava como electrofisiologista cardíaca, a Dra. Schwartz embarcou na sua própria jornada de perda de peso, uma experiência que informa profundamente a sua abordagem empática e prática aos cuidados do paciente. I did not know that there are difficulties joining Telehealth calls with Southcoast by cellphone until I contacted my doctor. She told me to use my PC moving forward that cellphones have difficulty with the connection from time to time.
The Dr was very pleasant and very helpful with explaining the meds and how they work. She spent time w us and didn't make us feel at all rushed.

My PCP referral was misplaced two different times. After speaking with the referral receiving team and assured it was received, it was not on file when I arrived for my appointment. Causing a major delay and several phone calls between departments. The check-in staff was very helpful in tracking down my referral.

She was pressed for time as she told me and did not listen to me just decided for herself my treatment plan. She was Very educated as am I and I found her rude and not easy to understand her way!!! I did not want diabetes medicine but got it anyway.

I will say from start to finish was an amazing experience. The last 10 months I have been battle lots of medical issues and no answers. This dr took the time and made sure I knew what her plan was and made sure I was happy with it. I haven't felt this good about a drs determination to help me get better and better my life. Appropriate timing Welcoming and professional Clean space
Entire experience overall was exceptional. I was welcomed and treated amazing from the moment I checked in to the moment I left. The provider gave me so much information I didn't even know I needed. She guided me and took me through the steps of my new goals and expectations as her patient! I would recommend this office 100 times over and over again. Outstanding and very strong team

Dr. Shorter was one of the kindest, knowledgeable, and validating doctors I have seen in a long time. She provided feedback, information, and active listening skills during my visit. She made me feel very validated. We came up with a plan. I felt extremely happy with the care for my health and my overall well-being. I am so excited to keep continuing my care under her, and I would absolutely recommend her. It was an extremely positive first meeting and experience overall.
She was very informative about explaining everything to me also telling me what to eat and what not to eat gave me some information on the shot
