About Himesh Sheth, MD
Dr. Himesh Sheth began his education at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in Dartmouth, Ma where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Ross University School of Medicine in Mirimar, Florida. He is currently obtaining his MBA at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut and has completed his Nephrology Fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
His philosophy of care is to treat his patients as individuals and provide them care that allows them to attain the best quality of life and independence all while delivering healthcare that is up to date with the latest evidence and guidelines. He feels that being a physician is an extremely rewarding career where every day you have an opportunity to improve a patient’s health and quality of life.
He believes that Southcoast Health is an integral part of the community that provides excellent care to the community delivering beyond healthcare.
When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, running, bike riding, and cooking.

everything was done very good The staff was very nice
The people were polite and friendly even in the lab. The doctor seemed interested in helping me and I felt very comfortable with him.In the building itself it was large, clean, nice paitings on the wall, and it didn't feel sterile it felt more like an office building.
No problems, visit was fine

The Doctor And Nurses Are So Helpful Understanding Caring They Explain Everything And I Lost My Medical Papers And Went Back And Nurse Immediately Printed Me A Copy I Would Never Leave Them And Yes I Would Refer Anyone To Go There They Are The Best ?

Dr Sheth cared for me at Tobey and within a few days addressed my massive lymphedema. I lost more than 30 lb of fluid and am able to walk safely with a walker. He is a miracle worker and has my heartfelt thanks. The discharge person assisted my wife with my wheelchair and accompanied us to the elevator. Excellent patient service! Thank you!!

Train your receptionist better, her attitude was none to kind, when I asked if I could be billed for my visit, her owell was demure was rude. We didn't get a hello, with fifty questions on who we were there to see, the time of our appointment, and our name. She had no people skills to be handling patients in that manner
I had a series of questions to ask and I had contacted his office in advance to let him know, and Dr Sheth was totally prepared to answer my questions. I was very pleased with the answer and I was impressed at how quickly he was able to access the MRI so he could be more specific in his explanation. He is excellent
From office staff to Dr. Sheth everyone was curteous and attentive at all times.
