About Erika Mello DO
Dr. Mello earned her bachelor’s degree at Oberlin College in Ohio. She earned her medical degree from Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine in New Jersey and completed her residency at the University of Connecticut in internal medicine.
Dr. Mello is a board certified in internal medicine primary care physician and has over 12 years of experience. Her experience includes both rural and metropolitan medicine, and inpatient and outpatient care. Dr. Mello is certified in Medical Acupuncture, has training in osteopathic manipulation and knowledge of alternative therapies, supplementing her western medicine education.
She is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the New England Society of Medical Acupuncture.

I was seen 75 minutes after my appointment time started, it was an early morning appointment so there was not a lot of time for it to get behind. It was frustrating to wait an hour in the room to be seen for 10 minutes.

I saw the doctor and she was very thorough with my visit She listin to me and she told me ways to take care of my heath she did asked me meny of questions about what was wrong with me she even told me ways to take care of my self . I love Dr. Mello. She definitely listens to me and addresses my concerns. I do wish the check in area wasn't so close to the door or the waiting area. Other patients can hear everything that is said. Name, address, phone number, dob, medical issues, etc...
