O Dr. Christian Petrulio é um cirurgião de mão com dupla certificação e formação em cirurgia geral e cirurgia de mão. Licenciou-se com distinção na Universidade de Harvard, após o que fez investigação nos campos da conservação da vida selvagem com o Cheetah Conservation Fund na Namíbia, África, e depois investigação em virologia na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Nova Iorque, de onde saiu para receber o seu doutoramento em medicina.
A sua formação cirúrgica foi feita no Columbia University Medical Center's New York-Presbyterian Hospital em Cirurgia Geral, durante a qual fez uma bolsa de estudos em Oncologia Cirúrgica, centrando a sua investigação no desenvolvimento de vacinas para o tratamento do melanoma. A partir daí, fez a sua especialização em Mão e Microcirurgia no Instituto Kleinert-Kutz da Universidade de Louisville, onde participou no segundo e terceiro transplantes de mão alguma vez efectuados nos Estados Unidos.
Após a conclusão da sua formação cirúrgica, juntou-se a uma clínica de Cirurgia da Mão em Austin, Texas, durante cinco anos, antes de se juntar ao Southcoast Physicians Group em 2014.

The dr is exemplary and a sterling asset to south coast health
Every person who works here are very helpful. Answered all my questions. Am confident that everything will be just fine.
The Doctor was friendly and very professional. He did an exam of both my hands and agreed the right hand had a trigger finger problem. Talked about two options: a shot or surgery. He recommended the shot and I agreed. He said if there was any problem with my hand or hands to be in touch. It's been a couple of days, but I feel that it has improved.. Will see as the two weeks give me the whole story.
Everyone was very polite. The doctor was great. Let me know the information. I would highly recommend this place.

Very personable and knowledgeable about what my plan is in order to assist me
I broke my wrist, both the ulna and radius Dr. Petrulio told me exactly what surgery needed to accomplish and fit me into his surgery schedule the next day. The follow-up care was excellent and my recovery much speedier than I expceted. His communication was excellent. I feel blessed to have him as my surgeon.
Dr Petrulio was excellent. He asked questions and most importantly he checked my hands. Examined every finger and the thumbs. He explained why there was pain. Checked my left ring finger and explained what was possible for that finger I will see [Name] [Name] for tests. Dr Petrulio was most attentive and showed interest in helping my painful hands

He explained in detail what was wrong with my hand. Then he told me what my options for treatment were. Then the office assistant set up the nescacary appointments for me.

Upon arrival I received help at check-in with my payment method. I was called in shortly after, and brought to a room where I waited briefly. Finally, the Dr came in and greeted me. He was professional and kind. He listened, we discussed treatment, he took care of me, and I was on my way. I would highly recommend this facility!
Dr.Petrulio was great! Got me in and out, made the visit easy and addressed my concerns. Only thing that was alittle off was rooming, I had an 8:50 arrival time and I seen a patient that was there after me with a later appointment time being called to be roomed. Granted the appointment was as at 9:15 however, I wasn't roomed till 9:30. Other wise than that overall experience was good!
