About Christian Dee, MD
Dr. Dee graduated with honors from the University of Wales with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Leicester University Medical School in the U.K., and then completed an internship in general surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook followed by a residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
After completing fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Dee moved back home to New England. He spent 12 years in private practice in Connecticut and has enjoyed treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions including knee, hip and upper extremity problems such as work-related injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Dr. Dee performs the most current arthroscopic and total joint procedures of the knee, hip and shoulder and is trained in the latest robotic partial knee replacement technology. Dr. Dee is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and he is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.

I found the staff at Southcoast Orthopedics very professional and friendly. The secretaries, medical assistant, x-ray tech and the doctor were all very helpful. I just wish management would give doctors more time with patients. Although I found the doctor thorough I just had this feeling that he had to keep moving to see other patients. I remembered a few of my questions for him after I left.

Office staff professional and courteous. Dr Dee evaluated the situation, informed me of possible treatments and started me on a course of treatment with follow-up in 3 months. My initial visit was very satisfactory.

I was very pleased with this appointment. I was a new patient made to feel welcome. The doctor was friendly. I was in and out of my appointment within an hour !! That included speaking with the doctor and him examining my feet, x-rays and a shot of Cortizone all within an hour Could not have been more pleased!!

I have not seen Dr. Dee, or come to this office much, so it is difficult to give a proper rating, in my opinion. My visits were also very short, but I feel that I am now on my way to healing with the plan set up for me at this time.

Very curtious and friendly staff
I spoke to the Front Desk person who checked me in, the Medical Assistant who Roomed me, and the Radiology tech who took films of my hip. All three of these employees were friendly, happy and pleasant. I was very impressed and comfortable during my visit. Dr Dee listened to everything I said. Nice man.
