About Brian Costa FNP
Brian Costa, FNP earned an Associate degree of Science in Nursing from Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts before obtaining his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts.
Brian’s clinical education inspired him to take on the challenge of being able to care for the most complex populations in our communities. He chose Primary Care because he believes it plays an important role in the prevention of illness and the improvement of health.
He encourages a healthy and welcoming relationship with his patients. He wants them to feel comfortable to express their health concerns.
Brian is a life-long South Coast resident and when not at work, he enjoys skiing, camping and spending time with his dog Cooper.

Dr. Brian did a great job humanizing himself. I like that I can go in and not feel like I'm talking to just a doctor who cares about me as a number, but a doctor and a person who cares about me as a person.
I found my entire visit quick, efficient, but not rushed. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and I left feeling quite confident in the next stage of my health journey.

I met Brian, NP for the first time today, and I was immediately impressed. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and it was clear he had reviewed my chart ahead of time, which made the visit feel smooth and personalized.
All but one of the staff are very professional and competent. One receptionist, name forgotten, is probably one of the rudest people I have met. And it's not only this occasion. My wife has had issues with her in the past. She needs to not be dealing with patients.
Brian is an excellent practitioner . I would recommend him to anyone.

Brian was very aware of my other doctors care and my history. He gave me a tetnuus shot that I needed and took an a1c test to check for diabetes and schedueled an pnumonia shot for me. He was great.

My visit today did not need any improvement at all from when I walked in reception then to the nurse she was amazing and the doctor truly amazing and going X-ray They were amazing as well. I am glad I stayed at South Coast because at one point I wanted to leave, but I'm very happy.

NP Brian Costa was a great listener and very good at explaining and repeating. Great eye contact, and encourager of what I'm doing right. Showed concern. Good explanation of medicine, pain killer not narcotic.
