About Amanda Martin, NP
Amanda Martin, NP graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She then furthered her medical expertise, graduating with her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, MA. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her clinical interests involve all aspects of general urology including kidney stones, overactive bladder and urinary incontinence.
Amanda has worked in the St. Luke’s Hospital operating room since 2014 as a registered nurse, in which her time spent there inspired her to become an Advanced Practice Practitioner. She enjoyed the work in the operating room but welcomed the opportunity to become more involved with the entire patient story and journey.
When not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.

Everyone was professional and welcoming. From front desk to the nurse who checked me in, the nurse practitioner who saw me and the staff on check out. Everyone was clear and made sure I understood what was happening and allowed me the time to think of any questions I might have. This appointment was rescheduled to a sooner date as I had concerns about what I was experiencing and the staff that handled that were extremely helpful and accommodating.
I met with a nurse practitioner, Amanda, in a timely manner, did not have to wait. She was very informed. We discussed possibilities of correction, but at this time, she feels, and so did I, that there was nothing to do. I will see her in three months. Thank you.
This visit was very good. Cannot say the same with previous visits. Appointment was timely and I was listened to - Amanda was able to understand my situation and offer a mutually agreed upon treatment plan.
