About Abena Addo MD
Dr. Addo earned her medical degree at the University of Ghana Medical School. She then completed an internship in pediatrics, surgery and internal medicine at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana, followed by an internal medicine internship at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Addo completed her residency in internal medicine at St. Agnes Hospital.
Dr. Addo is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her clinical interests include travel medicine and preventive care. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the International Society of Travel Medicine

I am happy all around with this appointment
As in previous times, the care I received was most professional and helpful.
I was listened to and respected.
My concerns are always addressed. If there is an issue that can be taken care of during the visit, it's done. I'm very pleased with this provider and her staff.

My appointment was surprisingly on time. Dr. ADO takes the time to go over all your medications and bloodwork. I feel that you can discuss your concerns and she listens to you. I am very satisfied that I picked her as my primary after my previous one left.

I had a 9.45 appointment. I didn't get seen until, I didn't get called into the office until after 10 o'clock. I was there about 9.30. I had to also sit into the little exam room for an awful long time. If they could be quicker with seeing the patients instead of making them wait forever, it would be a great improvement. Thank you.

Dr Abeena Addo is always meticulous in reviewing notes, listening carefully to, my questions, provides understandable answers, takes prompt action to schedule tests where in her opinion are warranted, very kind and caring.
Dr Addo is great. She listens, discusses, and acts upon my conerns. Everyone in this office is very nice. Also, the receptionist when checking out is super helpful.

Support staff should at the very least be somewhat personable to the patients. Whoever the person was who recorded my weight, blood pressure and did intake questions could not have been any more disinterested and actually colder if she tried.
