About Mazhar Jakhro, MD
A graduate of Dow Medical College in Pakistan, Dr. Jakhro completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Brown University School Ð Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.
Dr. Jakhro has served as an instructor in medicine at a number of colleges including the New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants, New York Medical College in Brooklyn, N.Y., and at Brown University in Providence, R.I.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and will see patients 16 years of age and over.
Mazhar speaks Hindi, Urdu.

I didn't have to wait at all. They got me right in. The lady working with Dr. Jakhro, was very polite, kind, considerate, and very careful in asking her questions about my health. And Dr. Jakhro, was very timely. He's always very well. And he cares very, he cares a lot for making a decision before he makes it for me. This last visit, he actually wouldn't prescribe me something that could have an ill effect. And with the possibility of it, he chose not to. And I was glad that he did. He really cares about his patients. Thank you very much.
I love my doctor. He has been my pcp for 9 years and he has provided great care. I also love that he has intrinsic knowledge of over the counter meds and has even cautioned me about certain otc options that he felt were redundant with what he had already prescribed. I have total confidence in this doctor.

My doctor didn't answer or listen to word I had to say and on my record wrote it different then what I said
He was very attentive and personable. My doctor in Westport left the practice and they haven't been able to replace her. We were forced to accept this as our new doctor, even though itis a far drive from Swansea. On the way there, My daughter and I were saying it was too far and we are just going this once. But after the visit, we loved him and will continue no matter how far it is.
