About Mark Desnoyers MD
Dr. Desnoyers came to the Southcoast region in 1989 to establish the first community hospital catheterization laboratory (“cath lab”) in Massachusetts. He has served as the director of St. Luke’s cath lab since its opening in 1991.
Dr. Desnoyers graduated as Valedictorian of his class from Dartmouth College before heading to Harvard Medical School to earn his medical degree. He completed an internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiology at New England Medical Center Hospital in Boston, where he also performed his cardiology fellowship and ultimately became a faculty member and associate director of the adult cardiac cath lab.
Dr. Desnoyers is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty board certification in cardiovascular disease.

Always treated with respect in a timely manner!
I was seen at the time my appointment was scheduled.Med tech very pleasant and efficient explained everything she was going to do. Physician informed me of results of EKG and how it compared to last year.

This was my very first visit with this doctor at this office, so it's hard to judge, but everything went very well, and I liked him and his staff very much.
Dr. Mark Desnoyers always carefully listens to your questions and concerns and makes sure that you understand and are satisfied. Thankfully he does not spend his time on the computer while he is talking to you so you know that you have his full attention. Hopefully Southcoast administrative demands on doctors are FINALLY allowing that to happen.

Yes, I really like Dr. D'Souza. I think he's a very great doctor. I've been going to him now for a while and he's helped me a lot with my heart issues. I've got three stents in my heart and I have a pacemaker. And I'm still alive and feel pretty good most days. And I would certainly recommend him highly to anyone.

Dr Desnoyers is not the kind of doctor who has to keep referring to your chart. He already knows what he needs to before entering the room. I was able to get blood work done right away and she was amazing; always gets it on the first try and my veins are difficult. The office staff is always so nice and helpful and there is hardly ever any wait time.
