About Therese Brown CNM, CNP
Therese Brown is a nurse midwife and nurse practitioner. She has dual board certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Brown earned her initial master’s in nursing through the University of Massachusetts and subsequently obtained her midwifery education through Shenandoah University in Virginia after practicing at Southcoast OB/GYN in New Bedford for several years.
Ms. Brown offers full scope midwifery and gynecological care. She has a special interest in vaginal delivery after c-section, adolescent health, contraception counseling including IUD and Nexplanon placement, and lactation support.
A Plymouth native, Brown enjoys spending time at the beach, reading and volunteering at her children’s school. She is married and has two sons and a daughter.
